Sanima Bank Limited has commenced the distribution of its cash dividend to shareholders. Following the approval at its 22nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Ashwin 12, the bank has started depositing a 10% cash dividend (including tax) from the profit of the fiscal year 2082/83.
According to the bank, the dividend amounts are being sequentially credited to the bank accounts updated in the shareholders' Demat accounts starting from Ashwin 12. In addition, the bank announced that an 8.25% cash dividend (including tax) has also been distributed to the holders of the '8.25% Sanima Perpetual Non-cumulative Preference Share'.
The bank has advised shareholders whose bank account numbers have changed due to mergers and acquisitions of their respective banks or financial institutions to update their new account numbers in their Demat accounts as soon as possible, as their dividend transfers may have bounced back.
Furthermore, shareholders who had taken margin loans against their shares before the book closure date (Ashwin 1) must obtain a 'No Objection Letter' from their lending institution to release the dividend. Those who settled their loans after the book closure date are required to submit the original dividend release letter to Sanima Capital Limited to have the cash dividend deposited into their accounts.
