अप्पर सोलु हाइड्रो इलेक्ट्रिक कम्पनी लिमिटेडले गत आर्थिक वर्षको चौथो त्रैमाससम्म २० करोड ८७ लाख रुपैयाँ खुद नाफा आर्जन गरेको छ। कम्पनीको नाफा अघिल्लो आर्थिक वर्षको सोही अवधिको तुलनामा ८४.४१ प्रतिशतले बढेको हो। अघिल्लो वर्ष कम्पनीले ११ करोड ३२ लाख रुपैयाँ नाफा कमाएको थियो।
विद्युत बिक्री आम्दानीमा सामान्य वृद्धि भए पनि वित्तीय खर्च घट्दा कम्पनीको नाफामा सुधार आएको हो। समीक्षा अवधिमा कम्पनीको विद्युत बिक्री आम्दानी १.९७ प्रतिशतले बढेर ७३ करोड ८२ लाख रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ।
यस अवधिमा कम्पनीको कुल नाफा २.२६ प्रतिशतले बढेको छ भने वित्तीय खर्च २९.५८ प्रतिशतले घटेको छ। खर्च नियन्त्रणसँगै कम्पनीको समग्र वित्तीय अवस्था सुधारिएको देखिएको छ।
नाफा वृद्धिसँगै कम्पनीको प्रतिशेयर आम्दानी (ईपीएस) पनि बढेर १५ रुपैयाँ ४६ पैसा पुगेको छ। कम्पनीको प्रतिशेयर नेटवर्थ ११९ रुपैयाँ २ पैसा रहेको छ भने मूल्य आम्दानी अनुपात ३१.६२ गुणा कायम छ।
१ अर्ब ३५ करोड रुपैयाँ चुक्ता पुँजी रहेको कम्पनीको अन्य इक्विटी २५ करोड ६७ लाख रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ।
Upper Solu Hydro Electric Company Limited has reported a net profit of Rs 208.7 million up to the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year. The company’s profit increased by 84.41 percent compared to the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, when it had earned Rs 113.2 million.
The growth in profit was mainly supported by a decline in financial expenses despite only a marginal increase in electricity sales revenue. During the review period, the company’s revenue from electricity sales increased by 1.97 percent to Rs 738.28 million.
The company’s gross profit rose by 2.26 percent, while financial expenses declined by 29.58 percent, contributing to the improvement in overall profitability.
Following the rise in profit, the company’s annualized earnings per share (EPS) increased by Rs 7.07 to Rs 15.46. Its net worth per share stood at Rs 119.02, while the price-to-earnings (PE) ratio remained at 31.62 times.
The company has a paid-up capital of Rs 1.35 billion, with other equity standing at Rs 256.75 million.
