कर्णालीमा पहिलो पटक १३२ केभी प्रसारण लाइन सञ्चालनमा, औद्योगिक विकासलाई गतिFirst-Ever 132 kV Transmission Line Comes into Operation in Karnali Province
काठमाडौँ, माघ १९ — नेपाल विद्युत् प्राधिकरणले कर्णाली प्रदेशमै पहिलो पटक १३२ केभी प्रसारण लाइन सञ्चालनमा ल्याएको छ। कोहलपुर–सुर्खेत–दैलेख १३२ केभी प्रसारण लाइन आयोजनाअन्तर्गत कोहलपुर–सुर्खेत खण्ड सञ्चालनमा आएसँगै कर्णाली प्रदेशको विद्युत् आपूर्ति प्रणालीमा गुणात्मक सुधार आएको प्राधिकरणले जनाएको छ।
प्राधिकरणका कार्यकारी निर्देशक हितेन्द्रदेव शाक्य ले यसअघि ३३ केभी प्रसारण लाइनमार्फत आपूर्ति हुँदा देखिँदै आएको ओभरलोड, बारम्बार बत्ती जाने र लो–भोल्टेजका समस्यामा अब उल्लेख्य सुधार हुने विश्वास व्यक्त गरे। नयाँ प्रसारण लाइन सञ्चालनसँगै कर्णालीमा ठूला उद्योग–धन्दा सुरु हुने र औद्योगिक क्षेत्रमा विद्युत् खपत बढेर प्रदेशको आर्थिक वृद्धिमा टेवा पुग्ने उनको भनाइ छ।

Kathmandu, Magh 19 — The Nepal Electricity Authority has brought a 132 kV transmission line into operation for the first time in Karnali Province. With the commissioning of the Kohalpur–Surkhet section under the Kohalpur–Surkhet–Dailekh 132 kV Transmission Line Project, the authority expects a major improvement in the region’s power supply system.
NEA Managing Director Hittendra Dev Shakya said the new line would significantly address long-standing issues such as overloading, frequent outages, and low voltage that persisted when electricity was supplied through a 33 kV line. He expressed confidence that the upgraded infrastructure would encourage the establishment of large industries in Karnali, increase industrial electricity consumption, and support overall economic growth in the province.
Following a site inspection in the third week of Poush, contractors were instructed to expedite the work. Project Chief Ravi Kumar Chaudhary stated that the approximately 52-kilometer Kohalpur–Surkhet section was completed swiftly as per the authority’s mandate. He added that construction of the second section, Surkhet–Dailekh, will now move forward at an accelerated pace.
