First Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (FMDBL) has announced its 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to approve the proposed dividend to be distributed from the profits of the previous fiscal year. The AGM is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, December 30 (Poush 30), 2025, at Shubham Reception, Kalopul, Kathmandu, starting at 11:00 AM. The meeting will seek approval to distribute a cash dividend of 6.50 percent of the company’s paid-up capital, including tax purposes. In addition, the AGM will approve the appointment of directors, appoint an auditor, and elect one director representing the general public shareholders, among other agenda items. For the purpose of the AGM and dividend distribution, the company has announced a book closure for one day on December 17 (Poush 17), and shareholders who have maintained ownership of shares through trading on NEPSE up to December 16 (Poush 16) will be eligible to attend the AGM and receive the dividend.
