चालु आर्थिक वर्ष (आव) २०८०÷८१ को १० महिना सकिँदा सरकारको आम्दानीको तुलनामा खर्च झन्डै २ खर्ब बढी देखिएको छ । जसले गर्दा खर्च चलाउन सरकारले ऋणमा भर पर्नुपरेको देखिन्छ ।
महालेखा नियन्त्रकको कार्यालयका अनुसार सरकारको आम्दानी ८ खर्ब ५७ अर्ब हुँदा खर्च १० खर्ब ५६ अर्ब पुगेको छ । तथ्यांक अनुसार आम्दानीभन्दा खर्च १ खर्ब ९९ अर्बले धेरै देखिन्छ ।
