देशभर मुसलधारे वर्षासँगै आएको बाढी पहिरोका कारण कम्तीमा ५० जनाको ज्यान गएको छ। नेपाल प्रहरीको तथ्याङ्क अनुसार, काठमाण्डौ उपत्यकामा मात्रै ३२ जनाको ज्यान गएको छ, जसमा काठमाण्डौमा ११, ललितपुरमा १६, र भक्तपुरमा ५ जनाको ज्यान गएको छ।

काठमाण्डौ उपत्यका: ३२ जनाको मृत्यु, १२ जना बेपत्ता, १,०५३ जनाको उद्धार।
काभ्रे: ६ जनाको मृत्यु।
मकवानपुर: ३ जनाको मृत्यु, जसमा एन्फा एकेडेमीका तीन विद्यार्थी छन्।
पाँचथर: ५ जनाको मृत्यु।
सिन्धुपाल्चोक: २ जनाको मृत्यु।
धनकुटा: २ जनाको मृत्यु।
सिन्धुली, झापा, धादिङ: १-१ जनाको मृत्यु।
मकवानपुरमा विशेष घटना: मकवानपुरमा इन्द्रसरोवर गाउँपालिका वडा नम्बर ३ सिस्नेरीमा अवस्थित वत्सलादेवी माध्यमिक विद्यालयका तीन विद्यार्थीको मृत्यु भएको छ। कुलेखानी जलविद्युत् आयोजनाको जलाशयका ढोका खोलिएपछि सिस्नेरी खोलामा जलसतह बढेको थियो, जसका कारण ३० घर बाढीमा बगेका छन् र २८ घर डुबानमा परेका छन्।
देशभरको स्थिति: नेपालका ४४ जिल्लामा बाढी, पहिरो, डुबान र कटानले ठूलो क्षति पुर्याएको छ। बाढी पहिरोमा परेर कैयौं व्यक्ति घाइते भएका छन् भने कम्तीमा १५ जना हराइरहेका छन्।
प्राकृतिक प्रकोपले जनधनको ठूलो क्षति पुर्याउँदा देशभरका बासिन्दाहरूलाई गहिरो शोकमा डुबाएको छ। उद्धार कार्य जारी रहेको छ, तर प्राकृतिक प्रकोपका कारण स्थिति अझै गम्भीर बनेको छ।
At least 50 people have lost their lives due to the floods and landslides triggered by heavy rainfall across Nepal. According to the statistics from Nepal Police, 32 fatalities have been reported within the Kathmandu Valley alone, with 11 in Kathmandu, 16 in Lalitpur, and 5 in Bhaktapur.
Affected Districts:
Kathmandu Valley: 32 deaths, 12 missing, 1,053 rescued.
Kavre: 6 deaths.
Makwanpur: 3 deaths, including three students from ANFA Academy.
Panchthar: 5 deaths.
Sindhupalchok: 2 deaths.
Dhankuta: 2 deaths.
Sindhuli, Jhapa, Dhading: 1 death each.
Special Incident in Makwanpur: In Makwanpur, three students from Batsaladevi Secondary School located in Sisneri, Ward No. 3 of Indrasarovar Rural Municipality, have lost their lives. The water level in the Sisneri River rose after the gates of the Kulekhani Hydropower Project's reservoir were opened, resulting in 30 houses being swept away and 28 houses submerged.
Nationwide Situation: Floods, landslides, inundation, and erosion have caused massive destruction across 44 districts in Nepal. Several people have been injured, and at least 15 are reported missing due to the disaster.
The widespread destruction has plunged the nation's residents into deep sorrow as the rescue operations continue. However, the situation remains critical due to the ongoing natural calamities.
