काठमाडौं । लगानी बोर्ड नेपालले ४३९ मेगावाट क्षमताको बेतन कर्णाली अर्धजलाशययुक्त जलविद्युत् परियोजना निर्माणका लागि ९३ अर्ब ४० करोड ७ लाख रुपैयाँ लगानी स्वीकृत गरेको छ। बोर्डको ६७औँ बैठकले परियोजना विकास सम्झौता (PDA) गर्न वार्ता समिति गठन गर्ने निर्णयसमेत गरेको हो।
प्रधानमन्त्री सुशीला कार्कीको अध्यक्षतामा बसेको बैठकले आर्थिक वर्ष २०८१/८२ को प्रगति समीक्षा गर्दै २०८२/८३ को वार्षिक कार्ययोजना स्वीकृत गरेको बोर्डले जानकारी दिएको छ।
तल्लो अरुण परियोजनाको अनुमतिपत्र जारी गर्ने तयारी
बैठकले ६६९ मेगावाट क्षमताको तल्लो अरुण जलविद्युत् परियोजनाको उत्पादन अनुमतिपत्रको मस्यौदा स्वीकृत गर्दै, अनुमतिपत्र जारी गर्न बोर्डका प्रमुख कार्यकारी अधिकृतलाई अधिकार प्रदान गरेको छ।
अरुण–३ र पश्चिम सेती परियोजनाबारे निर्णय
बैठकमा अन्य ठूला परियोजनाबारे पनि महत्वपूर्ण निर्णय भएका छन्—
९०० मेगावाट अरुण–३ जलविद्युत् परियोजनाको ‘डाइरेक्ट एग्रिमेन्ट’ मस्यौदा स्वीकृतिका लागि मन्त्रिपरिषद्मा प्रस्ताव पेस गर्ने निर्णय।
८०० मेगावाट पश्चिम सेती जलाशययुक्त परियोजनाका लागि जारी सर्वेक्षण अनुमतिपत्रको म्याद थप्ने निर्णय।
अटो सर्भिस इको–इन्डस्ट्रियल पार्कका लागि सर्वेक्षण अनुमति
बैठकले थप रूपमा, हङकङस्थित ब्लेजपिक ग्लोबल ग्रुप लिमिटेडद्वारा नआह्वान गरिएको प्रस्तावका रूपमा पेस भएको अटो सर्भिस इको–इन्डस्ट्रियल पार्क परियोजना (अनुमानित लागत १६ अर्ब) का लागि—
विस्तृत परियोजना प्रतिवेदन (DPR) तयारीका लागि समझदारी (MoU) गर्न,
तथा सर्वेक्षण अनुमतिपत्र प्रदान गर्ने अधिकार बोर्डकै प्रमुख कार्यकारी अधिकृतलाई दिने निर्णय गरेको छ।

नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकका गभर्नर विश्वनाथ पौडेल,

Kathmandu.
The Investment Board Nepal (IBN) has approved an investment of NPR 93.40 billion for the development of the 439 MW Betan Karnali Semi-Reservoir Hydropower Project. The decision was made during the Board’s 67th meeting, which also endorsed the formation of a negotiation committee to proceed with the Project Development Agreement (PDA).
The meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Sushila Karki, reviewed the progress report of fiscal year 2081/82 and approved the Board’s Annual Work Plan for FY 2082/83.
Lower Arun (669 MW) Generation License Approved
During the meeting, the Board approved the draft of the Generation License for the 669 MW Lower Arun Hydropower Project, authorizing the Chief Executive Officer of the Investment Board Office to issue the official license.
Decisions on Arun–3 and West Seti Projects
The Board also made major decisions regarding other large hydropower projects:
The draft Direct Agreement of the 900 MW Arun–3 Hydropower Project will be submitted to the Council of Ministers for approval.
The survey license of the 800 MW West Seti Reservoir Hydropower Project will be extended.
Eco-Industrial Park Project Receives Survey Permission
The meeting further approved survey permission for the proposed Auto Service Eco-Industrial Park Project (estimated cost: NPR 16 billion).
According to the Board, the proposal was submitted independently despite not being invited by the Hong Kong–based Blazepic Global Group Limited.
The decision grants authority to the Board’s CEO to sign an MoU for preparing the Detailed Project Report (DPR) and to issue the necessary survey license.
