एमसीसी परियोजनाअन्तर्गत काठमाडौंमा ७ लाख ४० हजार वर्गमिटर जग्गा अधिग्रहण हुनेLand Acquisition for MCC Transmission Project Announced in Kathmandu
काठमाडौं । जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालय काठमाडौंले एमसीसी (मिलेनियम च्यालेञ्ज कर्पोरेसन) परियोजनाअन्तर्गत सञ्चालित ४०० केभी विद्युत प्रसारण लाइन आयोजनाका लागि झण्डै साढे ७ लाख वर्गमिटर जग्गा अधिग्रहण गर्न सूचना जारी गरेको छ।
प्रशासन कार्यालयले आज सूचना प्रकाशित गर्दै काठमाडौंको नाङ्लेभारे र लप्सीफेदी क्षेत्रका व्यक्तिगत तथा सरकारी जग्गा अधिग्रहण गरिने जनाएको हो। यो आयोजनालाई देशकै ऊर्जा प्रसारण सञ्जाल विस्तारमा महत्वपूर्ण परियोजनाका रूपमा लिइएको छ।
सूचनाअनुसार, अधिग्रहण हुने कुल ७ लाख ४० हजार वर्गमिटर जग्गामध्ये करिब १६ हजार वर्गमिटर निजी स्वामित्वमा रहेका व्यक्ति नामका जग्गा हुन् भने बाँकी भू–भाग नेपाल विद्युत प्राधिकरण र नेपाल सरकारको नाममा रहेको छ।
जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालयका अनुसार, आवश्यक कानूनी प्रक्रिया पूरा गरी अधिग्रहणको कार्य अघि बढाइनेछ।
एमसीसी परियोजनाअन्तर्गतको ४०० केभी ट्रान्समिसन लाइन काठमाडौं–हेटौँडा–ढल्केवर–इनरुवा प्रसारण मार्गको एउटा महत्वपूर्ण खण्ड हो, जसले मुलुकको विद्युत प्रसारण क्षमतामा दीर्घकालीन प्रभाव पार्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
यस परियोजनाले काठमाडौं उपत्यकाबाट पूर्व–पश्चिम विद्युतीय प्रसारण सञ्जाललाई सुदृढ गर्ने र ऊर्जा निर्यात तथा आपूर्ति दुवै सन्तुलनमा मद्दत गर्ने प्रशासनले जनाएको छ।
Kathmandu. The Kathmandu District Administration Office has issued a notice announcing the acquisition of nearly 740,000 square meters of land for the construction of the 400 kV electricity transmission line under the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) project.
According to the notice published today, the administration will acquire both private and government-owned land located in the Naglebhare and Lapsiphedi areas of Kathmandu for the project. The MCC-backed 400 kV transmission line is considered one of the most significant national infrastructure projects aimed at expanding Nepal’s electricity transmission network.
Out of the total land to be acquired, approximately 16,000 square meters belong to private individuals, while the remaining area is registered under the names of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) and the Government of Nepal.
Officials stated that the acquisition process will proceed as per legal procedures. The 400 kV transmission line, part of the Kathmandu–Hetauda–Dhulikhel–Inaruwa corridor, is a key segment of Nepal’s east–west power transmission network.
Authorities expect the project to play a vital role in strengthening Nepal’s electricity grid, supporting both domestic power supply stability and future energy exports.
