नबिल बैंकले मास्टरकार्ड नेटवर्कअन्तर्गत नयाँ डेबिट कार्ड सार्वजनिक गरेको छ। ग्राहकको सुविधा बढाउने र विद्युतीय भुक्तानी प्रणालीलाई अझ आधुनिक र प्रभावकारी बनाउने उद्देश्यसहित काठमाडौंमा आयोजित एक समारोहमार्फत यो कार्ड सार्वजनिक गरिएको बैंकले जनाएको छ। कार्यक्रममा नबिल बैंक तथा मास्टरकार्डका वरिष्ठ अधिकारीहरूको उपस्थिति थियो।
कार्यक्रममा बोल्दै नबिल बैंकका प्रमुख कार्यकारी अधिकृत मनोजकुमार ज्ञवालीले नयाँ डेबिट कार्ड बैंकको निरन्तर आधुनिकिकरण यात्राको महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि भएको बताए। “नबिल बैंकले सुरुआतदेखि नै ग्राहकलाई अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय स्तरको सेवा प्रदान गर्दै आएको छ,” ज्ञवालीले भने, “त्यही प्रतिबद्धताको निरन्तरतामा नयाँ मास्टरकार्ड डेबिट कार्ड बजारमा ल्याइएको हो।”
त्यसैगरी, मास्टरकार्ड, दक्षिण एसियाका प्रोडक्ट तथा समाधान विभागका वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष रवि दातलले नबिल बैंकसँगको सहकार्य अझै सुदृढ बनाउन पाएकोमा खुशी व्यक्त गरे। उनले मास्टरकार्ड सुरक्षित, सहज र विश्वस्तरीय भुक्तानी अनुभव उपलब्ध गराउन सदैव प्रतिबद्ध रहेको उल्लेख गरे।
नयाँ डेबिट कार्डमार्फत ग्राहकहरूले मास्टरकार्डको विश्वव्यापी नेटवर्कमा सहज पहुँच पाउने बैंकले जनाएको छ। कार्डको डिजाइन आकर्षक बनाइएको छ — जसमा नेपालको राष्ट्रिय गौरवको प्रतीक मानिने डाँफे (Himalayan Monal) को चित्र अंकित गरिएको छ। बैंकका अनुसार कार्डले शालीनता, स्वतन्त्रता र आधुनिक बैंकिङको अनुभव दिनेछ।
यो नयाँ डेबिट कार्डमार्फत ग्राहकले प्रिमियम सुविधाहरू पनि प्राप्त गर्नेछन्। विभिन्न रेस्टुरेन्ट, स्पा, फिटनेस सेन्टर, मनोरञ्जन क्षेत्र तथा अन्य सेवामा विशेष छुट उपलब्ध हुने बैंकले बताएको छ। यी सुविधाले कार्डधारकलाई दैनन्दिन खर्चदेखि यात्रासम्म थप मूल्य प्रदान गर्ने नबिल बैंकको विश्वास छ।
नबिल बैंक नेपालमा मास्टरकार्डको क्रेडिट कार्ड जारी गर्ने पहिलो बैंक हो। बैंकले नेपाली रुपैयाँ तथा अमेरिकी डलर दुवैमा कारोबार गर्न मिल्ने क्रेडिट कार्ड सेवा अघि नै उपलब्ध गराइरहेको थियो। अब डेबिट कार्ड सेवामा पनि मास्टरकार्डको नयाँ संस्करण थपिँदा डिजिटल भुक्तानी बजारमा प्रतिस्पर्धा थपिएको छ।
ग्राहकले बैंकको जुनसुकै शाखाबाट वा Nabil Bank App (NBank App) मार्फत नयाँ कार्डका लागि आवेदन दिन सक्ने व्यवस्था गरिएको छ। यसले प्रक्रिया झनै सहज र द्रुत भएको बैंकको दाबी छ।
चार दशकभन्दा बढी समयदेखि नबिल बैंकले नेपाली बैंकिङ क्षेत्रको आधुनिकिकरणमा अग्रणी भूमिका खेल्दै आएको छ। हाल बैंकले २५ लाखभन्दा बढी ग्राहकलाई २६८ शाखा र ३२१ एटिएममार्फत सेवा प्रदान गर्दै आएको छ। नयाँ मास्टरकार्ड डेबिट कार्ड सार्वजनिकसँगै नबिल बैंकले डिजिटल वित्तीय सेवामा आफ्नो नेतृत्व अझै बलियो बनाएको छ।
Nabil Bank has launched a new debit card under the Mastercard network, further expanding its digital payment portfolio. The bank introduced the card at an event held in Kathmandu, stating that the new product aims to provide greater convenience to customers and strengthen the electronic payment ecosystem. Senior officials from both Nabil Bank and Mastercard were present at the launch ceremony.
Speaking at the event, Nabil Bank’s Chief Executive Officer Manoj Kumar Gyawali said the introduction of the new debit card marks another milestone in the bank’s ongoing commitment to offer world-class services. “Since the beginning, Nabil Bank has been dedicated to providing international-standard facilities to its customers,” Gyawali said. “This new Mastercard debit card is part of that journey.”
Similarly, Ravi Datal, Senior Vice President for Product and Solutions, South Asia at Mastercard, expressed his delight in strengthening the partnership with Nabil Bank through the launch of the new debit card. He highlighted Mastercard’s ongoing commitment to providing safe, seamless and reliable payment solutions to customers globally.
According to Nabil Bank, the new debit card will allow customers to access Mastercard’s extensive global network while experiencing enhanced banking convenience in their daily transactions. The card features an attractive design showcasing Nepal’s national bird, the Himalayan Monal (Danphe)—symbolizing elegance, freedom and national pride.
The new debit card also provides premium benefits, including discounts at select restaurants, spas, fitness centers and entertainment outlets. Nabil Bank believes these additional features will add value to customers’ daily spending and lifestyle needs.
Nabil Bank is one of Nepal’s key partners within the Mastercard network and holds the distinction of being the first bank in Nepal to issue Mastercard credit cards. The bank has long offered Mastercard credit card services in both Nepali rupees and US dollars.
