काठमाडौं । नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्डका नवनियुक्त बोर्ड सदस्य श्री पिताम्बर भण्डारीज्यूलाई बोर्डका अध्यक्ष श्री सन्तोष नारायण श्रेष्ठज्यूले शुक्रबार स्वागत गर्दै शपथ ग्रहण गराउनुभएको छ। शपथ ग्रहण समारोहमा बोर्डका अन्य सदस्यज्यूहरूले समेत नवनियुक्त सदस्य भण्डारीज्यूलाई स्वागत गर्दै कार्यकालको सफलताको कामना गर्नुभएको थियो।
धितोपत्र सम्बन्धी ऐन, २०६३ को दफा ३(२)(छ) अनुसार नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्डमा तोकिएको योग्यता पूरा गरेका विज्ञहरूमध्येबाट नेपाल सरकारले बोर्ड सदस्य मनोनित गर्ने व्यवस्था रहेको छ। सोही व्यवस्था बमोजिम नेपाल सरकारले श्री पिताम्बर भण्डारीज्यूलाई बोर्ड सदस्यमा मनोनयन गरेको हो।
नवनियुक्त सदस्य भण्डारीज्यूको आगमनसँगै बोर्डको नीतिगत तथा नियामक भूमिकालाई थप सशक्त बनाउने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
Kathmandu — Mr. Pitambar Bhandari has been officially welcomed and sworn in as a Member of the Nepal Securities Board on Friday by the Board’s Chairman, Mr. Santosh Narayan Shrestha. On the occasion, other Board members also extended their congratulations and best wishes to the newly appointed member.
According to Section 3(2)(f) of the Securities Act, 2063, the Government of Nepal appoints members to the Nepal Securities Board from among qualified experts who meet the criteria prescribed by the Act. Mr. Bhandari has been appointed to the Board in line with this legal provision.
With the induction of Mr. Bhandari, the Board is expected to further strengthen its regulatory and policy-making role in Nepal’s capital market.
