मंसिरसम्म राजस्व संकलन लक्ष्यको ७८.७५ प्रतिशतमा सीमितRevenue Collection Falls Short of Target, Only 78.75% Achieved by Mid-December
काठमाडौं । चालु आर्थिक वर्षमा सरकारको राजस्व संकलन लक्ष्यअनुसार अघि बढ्न सकेको छैन । मंसिर मसान्तसम्म कुल लक्ष्यको ७८.७५ प्रतिशत मात्रै राजस्व संकलन भएको छ ।
तथ्यांकअनुसार चालु आर्थिक वर्षको मंसिरसम्म सरकारले ४ खर्ब ९ अर्ब ७८ करोड रुपैयाँ राजस्व संकलन गरेको छ । जबकि सो अवधिसम्म कुल वार्षिक लक्ष्य १४ खर्ब ८० अर्ब रुपैयाँमध्ये ५ खर्ब २० अर्ब ४४ करोड रुपैयाँ संकलन हुनुपर्ने थियो ।
त्यस्तै, मंसिर महिनाका लागि तोकिएको ९५ अर्ब २० करोड रुपैयाँ राजस्व लक्ष्यको तुलनामा ८० अर्ब २७ करोड रुपैयाँ मात्र संकलन भएको छ । यो मासिक लक्ष्यको ८४.३१ प्रतिशत हो ।
अर्थविद्हरूका अनुसार आर्थिक गतिविधि सुस्त रहनु, आयात घट्नु तथा व्यवसायिक वातावरण कमजोर हुनुका कारण राजस्व संकलनमा अपेक्षित प्रगति हुन नसकेको देखिन्छ ।
Kathmandu — Government revenue collection has remained below target in the current fiscal year, with only 78.75 percent of the projected amount collected by mid-December (Mangsir-end).
According to official data, total revenue collection during the period reached Rs 409.78 billion. However, based on the annual revenue target of Rs 1.48 trillion, the government was expected to collect Rs 520.44 billion by mid-December.
Similarly, revenue collection for the month of Mangsir also fell short of expectations. Against a monthly target of Rs 95.20 billion, the government managed to collect only Rs 80.27 billion, achieving 84.31 percent of the target.
Economists attribute the weaker-than-expected revenue performance to sluggish economic activity, lower import volumes, and a slowdown in overall business transactions, which have affected tax collection.
