वाणिज्य बैंकहरुले पछिल्लो तीन महिनाको अवधिमा खराब कर्जा दर ३.०१ प्रतिशतले घटाएका छन्। चैत मसान्तसम्म ३.८९ प्रतिशतमा रहेको खराब कर्जा असार मसान्तसम्म ३.७६ प्रतिशतमा झरेको छ। यस गिरावटको मुख्य कारण भनेको बैंकहरुले कर्जा असुलीमा दिएको जोड रहेको छ, जसका कारण एक दशकमा सबैभन्दा धेरै खराब कर्जाको भार बोकेका बैंकहरुले यसमा सुधार गर्न सफल भएका छन्। Commercial banks have successfully reduced their non-performing loan (NPL) ratio by 3.01% over the past three months.
