नेपालको ऊर्जा, जलस्रोत तथा सिँचाइ मन्त्रालयले हालैको बाढी र पहिरोले जलविद्युत क्षेत्रमा करिब २ अर्ब ४५ करोड रुपैयाँ बराबरको क्षति पुर्याएको जनाएको छ। यो विपत्तिका कारण देशभर ११ सय मेगावाट विद्युत् उत्पादन ठप्प भएको छ भने सिँचाइ क्षेत्रमा पनि १ अर्ब ३५ करोड रुपैयाँ बराबरको क्षति पुगेको छ। यसले गर्दा देशको ऊर्जा आपूर्तिमा गम्भीर असर परेको छ।Floods and Landslides Cause NPR 2.45 Billion in Damage to Nepal's Hydropower Sector, 1,100 MW Power Production Halted Nepal’s Ministry of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation has reported that recent floods and landslides have caused approximately NPR 2.45 billion in damages to the country’s hydropower sector. This disaster has resulted in the shutdown of 1,100 MW of electricity production across the country, while the irrigation sector has also sustained damages amounting to NPR 1.35 billion. This has led to serious disruptions in the nation’s energy supply.
