आज देशभर प्रतिनिधिसभा निर्वाचन, बिहान ७ देखि साँझ ५ बजेसम्म मतदान जेनजी आन्दोलनपछिको विशेष राजनीतिक परिस्थितिमा आज देशभर प्रतिनिधिसभा सदस्य निर्वाचनका लागि मतदान भइरहेको छ। बिहान ७ बजेदेखि सुरु भएको मतदान अपराह्न ५ बजेसम्म सञ्चालन हुने निर्वाचन आयोगले जनाएको छ। संघीय लोकतान्त्रिक गणतन्त्र स्थापनापछि यो प्रतिनिधिसभाको तेस्रो निर्वाचन हो। यसअघि २०७४ र २०७९ सालमा प्रतिनिधिसभा निर्वाचन सम्पन्न भएको थियो। यस निर्वाचनमा प्रत्यक्षतर्फ १६५ निर्वाचन क्षेत्र र समानुपातिकतर्फ ११० सिटका लागि मतदान भइरहेको छ। प्रत्यक्ष निर्वाचन प्रणालीतर्फ ६५ राजनीतिक दल प्रतिस्पर्धामा छन्। यसअन्तर्गत ३,०१७ पुरुष, ३८८ महिला र १ अन्य गरी कुल ३,४०६ उम्मेदवार मैदानमा रहेका छन्। समानुपातिकतर्फ भने १,३६३ पुरुष र १,७७२ महिला गरी कुल ३,१३५ उम्मेदवार प्रतिस्पर्धामा छन्।Voting Underway Nationwide for House of Representatives Election Amid Special Circumstances Voting for the House of Representatives election is taking place across Nepal today under special circumstances following the Gen-Z movement. Polling began at 7:00 AM and will continue until 5:00 PM in all 77 districts in a single phase, according to the Election Commission. This is the third parliamentary election held since Nepal entered the federal democratic republican system. The previous elections were conducted in 2017 and 2022.
