तेह्रथुम पावर कम्पनी लिमिटेडले गत आर्थिक वर्षको चौथो त्रैमाससम्म ८ करोड ९३ लाख रुपैयाँ खुद नाफा कमाएको छ। कम्पनीको नाफा अघिल्लो आर्थिक वर्षको सोही अवधिको तुलनामा २८८.४० प्रतिशतले बढेको हो। अघिल्लो वर्ष कम्पनीको खुद नाफा २ करोड ३० लाख रुपैयाँ रहेको थियो।
कम्पनीको विद्युत बिक्री आम्दानी वृद्धि हुनुका साथै वित्तीय खर्च घट्दा नाफामा उल्लेख्य सुधार आएको हो। समीक्षा अवधिमा कम्पनीको सञ्चालन आम्दानी १७.८६ प्रतिशतले बढेर १८ करोड २६ लाख रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ।
यस अवधिमा कम्पनीको कुल नाफा २४.१९ प्रतिशत र सञ्चालन मुनाफा २२.३८ प्रतिशतले वृद्धि भएको छ भने वित्तीय खर्च ६२ प्रतिशतले घटेको छ।
नाफा बढेसँगै कम्पनीको प्रतिशेयर आम्दानी (ईपीएस) पनि सुधार भई ११ रुपैयाँ १७ पैसा पुगेको छ। कम्पनीको प्रतिशेयर नेटवर्थ १३० रुपैयाँ ६४ पैसा रहेको छ भने मूल्य आम्दानी अनुपात ३१.२५ गुणा कायम छ।
८० करोड रुपैयाँ चुक्ता पुँजी रहेको कम्पनीको जगेडा कोष २ करोड ९० लाख रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ। अघिल्लो वर्ष सोही अवधिमा जगेडा कोष १५ करोड ४१ लाख रुपैयाँ ऋणात्मक रहेको थियो।
Terhathum Power Company Limited has reported a net profit of Rs 89.33 million for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year. The company’s profit increased by 288.40 percent compared to the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, when it had posted a net profit of Rs 23 million.
The significant rise in profit was mainly driven by growth in electricity sales revenue and a sharp decline in financial expenses. During the review period, the company’s operating revenue increased by 17.86 percent to Rs 182.61 million.
The company’s gross profit rose by 24.19 percent, while operating profit increased by 22.38 percent. Meanwhile, financial expenses declined by 62.02 percent, supporting the overall improvement in profitability.
Along with the rise in profit, the company’s annualized earnings per share (EPS) increased by Rs 5.42 to Rs 11.17. Its net worth per share stood at Rs 130.64, while the price-to-earnings (PE) ratio remained at 31.25 times.
With a paid-up capital of Rs 800 million, the company’s reserve and surplus improved to Rs 29.09 million from a negative reserve of Rs 154.11 million in the previous year.
