काठमाडौं: सरकारले समस्याग्रस्त घोषित सहकारीको बचतकर्ताको रकम फिर्ता गर्ने घोषणा गरेको छ। आर्थिक वर्ष २०८१/०८२ को बजेट संघीय संसदमा प्रस्तुत गर्दै अर्थमन्त्री वर्षमान पुनले समस्याग्रस्त सहकारीमा पैसा राख्नेहरुको बचत फिर्ता गर्ने घोषणा गरेका हुन्।
अर्थमन्त्री पुनले ती सहकारीको सञ्चालकको सम्पत्ति बेचेर भए पनि ५ लाख रुपैयाँसम्मको बचत फिर्ता गर्ने बताए। उनले कानूनमा आवश्यक संशोधन गरी सहकारी सिद्धान्त र नीतिबमोजिम सहकारी सञ्चालन हुने व्यवस्था गरिने पनि बताए।
यसैगरी, बचत तथा ऋण सहकारीको नियमन गर्न नियामक निकाय स्थापना गरिने जानकारी पनि उनले दिए। यस कदमले बचतकर्ताको हितलाई सुरक्षित राख्दै सहकारी क्षेत्रमा विश्वास पुनर्स्थापित गर्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
सरकारको यस निर्णयले समस्याग्रस्त सहकारीहरूका कारण आर्थिक कठिनाइ झेलिरहेका धेरैलाई राहत प्रदान गर्ने विश्वास गरिएको छ। सहकारी क्षेत्रको स्थायित्व र भविष्यमा यस्ता समस्याहरू पुनरावृत्ति हुन नदिनको लागि सरकारले कठोर नियम लागू गर्दै सहकारीहरूको सही संचालन सुनिश्चित गर्ने उद्देश्य राखेको छ।
Kathmandu: The government has announced the return of depositors' funds from troubled cooperatives by selling the assets of those cooperatives' operators. Finance Minister Barshaman Pun made this announcement while presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2081/82 in the Federal Parliament.
Minister Pun stated that depositors with savings in problematic cooperatives will have their funds returned, with a maximum of NPR 500,000 being refunded by selling the assets of the cooperative operators. He emphasized that necessary amendments will be made to the law to ensure cooperatives operate according to cooperative principles and policies.
Furthermore, a regulatory body will be established to oversee savings and credit cooperatives, ensuring better regulation and management. This move aims to protect depositors' interests and restore trust in the cooperative sector.
The government's decision is expected to provide relief to many who have faced financial difficulties due to the collapse of these cooperatives. By implementing stricter regulations and ensuring the proper functioning of cooperatives, the government aims to stabilize the cooperative sector and prevent future issues.
