अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति Donald Trump ले इरानसँगको शान्ति सम्झौताको मस्यौदा लगभग अन्तिम चरणमा पुगेको बताएका छन् । सामाजिक सञ्जाल ‘ट्रुथ सोसल’ मार्फत जानकारी दिँदै उनले अमेरिका, इरान तथा मध्यपूर्वका अन्य सम्बन्धित राष्ट्रहरूबीच सहमतिमा आधारित उक्त सम्झौतालाई चाँडै अन्तिम रूप दिइने उल्लेख गरे । ट्रम्पका अनुसार सम्झौताअन्तर्गत रणनीतिक रूपमा महत्वपूर्ण ‘स्ट्रेट अफ हर्मुज’ खुला गरिनेछ भने बाँकी प्राविधिक र राजनीतिक विषयमा अहिले छलफल जारी छ । यसैबीच उनले खाडी क्षेत्रका नेताहरूसँग टेलिफोन संवाद गर्दै इरानको पछिल्लो प्रस्तावबारे समीक्षा गरेका छन्। साथै, इजरायली प्रधानमन्त्री Benjamin Netanyahu सँग पनि छुट्टै कुराकानी भएको र उक्त संवाद निकै सकारात्मक रहेको ट्रम्पले बताएका छन् ।
U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that the draft of a peace agreement with Iran is “almost ready.” In a post on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump stated that the agreement is being finalized through coordination among the United States, Iran, and other key Middle Eastern nations. He said one of the major parts of the deal includes reopening the strategically important Strait of Hormuz, while discussions are continuing on the remaining political and technical details before an official announcement is made. Meanwhile, Trump also held telephone conversations with Gulf and regional leaders to review Iran’s latest proposal. He further revealed that he separately spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, describing the discussion as highly positive.
