अमेरिकी डलरको भाउ हालसम्मकै उच्च बिन्दुमाUS Dollar Reaches Record High Against Nepali Rupee
बुधबार अमेरिकी डलरको मूल्य हालसम्मकै उच्च बिन्दुमा पुगेको छ। नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले अमेरिकी डलरको खरिददर १३५.४७ रुपैयाँ र बिक्रीदर १३६.०७ रुपैयाँ तोकेको छ। यसअघि गत मंसिर २० गते १३५.८९ रुपैयाँ रहेको डलरको मूल्य अहिले आफ्नो सबैभन्दा उच्च विन्दुमा पुगेको हो। डलरको मूल्य वृद्धि हुँदै जाँदा नेपाली रुपैयाँ थप कमजोर बनेको छ।
अन्य मुद्राहरूको मूल्य पनि उचाइमा पुगेका छन्। युरोपियन यूरोको खरिददर १४२.६८ रुपैयाँ र बिक्रीदर १४३.३२ रुपैयाँ छ। यस्तै, युके पाउण्ड स्ट्रलिङको खरिददर १७२.८९ रुपैयाँ र बिक्रीदर १७३.६६ रुपैयाँ तोकिएको छ। स्वीस फ्रयाङ्कको खरिददर १५३.९७ रुपैयाँ र बिक्रीदर १५४.६५ रुपैयाँ छ।
अष्ट्रेलियन डलरको खरिददर ८६.६५ रुपैयाँ र बिक्रीदर ८७.०३ रुपैयाँ छ भने क्यानेडियन डलरको खरिददर ९५.६२ रुपैयाँ र बिक्रीदर ९६.०४ रुपैयाँ तोकिएको छ।
साउदी अरेबियन रियालको खरिददर ३६.०६ रुपैयाँ र बिक्रीदर ३६.२२ रुपैयाँ रहेको छ। यस्तै, कतारी रियाल ३७.१६ रुपैयाँमा खरिद र ३७.३३ रुपैयाँमा बिक्री भइरहेको छ। थाई भाटको खरिददर ४.०२ रुपैयाँ र बिक्रीदर ४.०३ रुपैयाँ छ।
नेपाली रुपैयाँ कमजोर हुनुको मुख्य कारण अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय बजारमा अमेरिकी डलरको बलियो माग र नेपालको आर्थिक अवस्था रहेको विश्लेषकहरू बताउँछन्। अमेरिकी डलरको वृद्धि नेपाली बजारमा थप महँगी ल्याउन सक्ने चिन्ता व्यक्त गरिएको छ।
On Wednesday, the exchange rate of the US dollar reached its highest level in history. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) set the buying rate for one US dollar at NPR 135.47 and the selling rate at NPR 136.07. Previously, on December 5, the rate had peaked at NPR 135.89. The surge in the dollar's value has further weakened the Nepali rupee.
The exchange rates of other currencies have also risen. The buying rate for the Euro is NPR 142.68, and the selling rate is NPR 143.32. Similarly, the British Pound Sterling is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 172.89 and a selling rate of NPR 173.66. The Swiss Franc has a buying rate of NPR 153.97 and a selling rate of NPR 154.65.
The Australian Dollar's buying rate is NPR 86.65, with a selling rate of NPR 87.03. Meanwhile, the Canadian Dollar is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 95.62 and a selling rate of NPR 96.04.
The Saudi Arabian Riyal is set at NPR 36.06 for buying and NPR 36.22 for selling. Similarly, the Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 37.16 and a selling rate of NPR 37.33. The Thai Baht is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 4.02 and a selling rate of NPR 4.03.
Analysts attribute the weakening of the Nepali rupee to the strengthening of the US dollar in the international market and Nepal's current economic situation. The rise in the dollar's value is expected to increase inflationary pressures in Nepal, raising concerns about its impact on the economy.
