धनतेरसको अवसरमा नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले आज २.५ ग्राम तौलको सुनको असर्फी बिक्री गर्दैछ। टक्सार महाशाखाबाट बिहान ११ बजेदेखि दिउँसो ४ बजेसम्म यो सिक्का बिक्री गरिनेछ। बैंकका अनुसार प्रत्येक व्यक्तिलाई एक सिक्का मात्र बिक्री हुनेछ र यो प्रक्रिया 'पहिले आउनेलाई पहिले' सिद्धान्तमा आधारित हुनेछ। सिक्काको मूल्य आजको सुनको बजार दरमा आधारित हुनेछ। धनतेरसको अवसरमा चाँदीका सिक्का पनि उपलब्ध गराइनेछ। १० र २५ ग्रामका चाँदी सिक्का कात्तिक ११ देखि १४ गतेसम्म बिक्री गरिनेछ। यिनको मूल्य २२०० देखि ८५७५ रुपैयाँसम्म निर्धारण गरिएको छ। नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले जनाए अनुसार सिक्का तथा असर्फी खरिद गर्न क्युआर कोडमार्फत भुक्तानीको सुविधा उपलब्ध हुनेछ। धर्मशास्त्रअनुसार धनतेरसमा धातुका वस्तु खरिद गर्नु शुभ मानिन्छ। असर्फी भनेको सुनलाई सिक्काको आकार दिएर बनाइएको एउटा विशेष सिक्का हो, जुन सामान्य मुद्रा सरह चलनचल्तीमा छैन। असर्फी मुख्यत: उच्च आय भएका व्यक्तिहरूले किन्ने भए पनि पछिल्लो समय सर्वसाधारणको पहुँच पनि बढ्दो रहेको राष्ट्र बैंकको भनाइ छ।On the occasion of Dhanteras, Nepal Rastra Bank is selling 2.5-gram gold coins today.
