काठमाडौं उपत्यकामा पछिल्लो समय वायु प्रदूषणको स्तर अत्यधिक बढेको छ। आकाश धमिलो देखिएको छ र दृश्य क्षमता घट्दा यातायात तथा हवाई उडानमा समेत सामान्य प्रभाव परेको छ। हावामा धुलो र धुवाँको मात्रा बढेकाले सर्वसाधारणले आँखा पोल्ने र श्वासप्रश्वासमा समस्या महसुस गरेका छन्। हिउँदे वर्षा नहुनु र विभिन्न स्थानमा लागेको डढेलोको धुवाँ उपत्यकामा भित्रिँदा प्रदूषण बढेको मौसमविद्हरूले बताएका छन्। केही दिनसम्म प्रदूषणको अवस्था कायमै रहन सक्ने अनुमान गरिएको छ।Air pollution in the Kathmandu Valley has risen sharply, making the sky hazy and reducing visibility. The situation has slightly affected transportation and flight operations. Increased dust and smoke in the air have caused eye irritation and breathing discomfort among residents. Experts say the pollution has worsened due to the lack of winter rainfall and smoke from wildfires entering the valley. The polluted conditions are expected to continue for the next few days.
