चालु आर्थिक वर्षको पहिलो १० महिनामा नेपालले ७३% निर्यात वृद्धि गर्दै २ खर्ब १७ अर्ब ९१ करोड रुपैयाँको वस्तु निर्यात गर्यो। तर व्यापार घाटा १२ खर्ब ५६ अर्ब रुपैयाँ पुगेर ७% ले बढेको छ। आयात १३.११% ले बढेर १४ खर्ब ७४ अर्ब पुगेको छ। निर्यात बढे पनि आयात अझै तीव्र रहेकोले व्यापार घाटा झन् बढेको छ।Nepal's exports surged by 73% in the first ten months of the fiscal year, reaching NPR 217.91 billion, mainly due to increased soybean oil exports. However, the trade deficit also widened to NPR 1.256 trillion, a 7% rise from last year. Imports grew by 13.11%, totaling NPR 1.474 trillion. Despite improved exports, the growing import volume has deepened the trade imbalance.

With this increase, the price of hallmarked gold now stands at Rs. 189,800 per tola, up from Rs. 184,800 per tola on Tuesday. Similarly, silver prices also went up today by Rs. 50 per tola, reaching Rs. 1,990 per tola, compared to Rs. 1,940 per tola the previous day. This sharp rise in both gold and silver prices has drawn significant attention in the market. Dealers have attributed the increase to global market fluctuations and changes in the U.S. dollar exchange rate.
