चार महिनामा निर्यातमा ऐतिहासिक उछाल, आयात र व्यापार घाटा पनि बढ्दै काठमाडौं । आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को पहिलो चार महिना (२०८२ कात्तिकसम्म) मा नेपालको वैदेशिक व्यापारमा मिश्रित तस्वीर देखिएको छ। एकातिर वस्तु निर्यातमा उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि देखिएको छ भने अर्कोतर्फ आयात र व्यापार घाटा पनि बढ्दै गएको छ। नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले सार्वजनिक गरेको तथ्याङ्कअनुसार यस अवधिमा निर्यातको वृद्धिदर पछिल्ला वर्षहरूमध्ये सबैभन्दा उच्च देखिएको छ। समीक्षा अवधिमा कुल वस्तु निर्यात ७७.५ प्रतिशतले वृद्धि भई ९३ अर्ब ५० करोड रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ। अघिल्लो वर्षको सोही अवधिमा निर्यात वृद्धि दर मात्र ४.२ प्रतिशत रहेको थियो। निर्यातमा आएको तीव्र वृद्धिले पछिल्लो समय देखिँदै आएको बाह्य क्षेत्रको दबाब केही हदसम्म कम हुने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।Exports Surge Sharply in First Four Months, but Trade Deficit Continues to Widen Nepal’s foreign trade showed a mixed trend in the first four months of fiscal year 2082/83 (up to mid-November 2025), with a strong rebound in exports offset by a faster rise in imports, keeping the trade deficit on an upward path. Data released by Nepal Rastra Bank indicate that while export growth has reached a multi-year high, the overall external sector remains under pressure due to Nepal’s heavy import dependence. During the review period, total merchandise exports increased by 77.5 percent to Rs 93.50 billion, compared to a modest 4.2 percent growth in the same period last year. The sharp rise in exports is seen as a positive signal for the external sector, reflecting improved supply conditions and higher outbound shipments of selected commodities.
