विदेशी विनिमय सञ्चिति ऐतिहासिक उच्च तहमा, बाह्य क्षेत्र अझ सुरक्षित काठमाडौं । आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को पहिलो चार महिना (२०८२ कात्तिकसम्म) मा नेपालको कुल विदेशी विनिमय सञ्चिति उल्लेखनीय रूपमा बढ्दै ऐतिहासिक उच्च तहमा पुगेको छ। नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले सार्वजनिक गरेको तथ्याङ्कअनुसार बलियो शोधनान्तर बचत र तीव्र विप्रेषण आप्रवाहका कारण विदेशी मुद्रा सञ्चिति थप मजबुत बनेको हो। २०८२ असार मसान्तमा रु. २,६७७ अर्ब ६८ करोड बराबर रहेको कुल विदेशी विनिमय सञ्चिति १४.१ प्रतिशतले वृद्धि भई २०८२ कात्तिक मसान्तमा रु. ३,०५५ अर्ब ५२ करोड पुगेको छ। अमेरिकी डलरमा हेर्दा, असार मसान्तमा १९ अर्ब ५० करोड डलर रहेको सञ्चिति कात्तिक मसान्तमा १०.३ प्रतिशतले बढेर २१ अर्ब ५२ करोड डलर पुगेको छ।Foreign Exchange Reserves Reach Record High, Strengthening External Stability Nepal’s foreign exchange reserves rose sharply in the first four months of fiscal year 2082/83 (up to mid-November 2025), reaching a historic high and significantly strengthening the country’s external position. According to data released by Nepal Rastra Bank, strong remittance inflows and a large balance of payments surplus have provided a solid cushion against external risks. As of mid-November 2025, total foreign exchange reserves stood at Rs 3,055.52 billion, up 14.1 percent from Rs 2,677.68 billion recorded at the end of mid-July 2025. In US dollar terms, reserves increased by 10.3 percent, rising from USD 19.50 billion to USD 21.52 billion over the same period.

चालु खाता र शोधनान्तर दुवैमा बलियो सुधार, बाह्य क्षेत्र थप सुदृढ काठमाडौं । आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को पहिलो चार महिना (२०८२ कात्तिकसम्म) मा नेपालको बाह्य क्षेत्र उल्लेखनीय रूपमा सुदृढ भएको देखिएको छ। नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले सार्वजनिक गरेको तथ्याङ्कअनुसार यस अवधिमा चालु खाता र शोधनान्तर दुवैमा अघिल्लो वर्षको तुलनामा उल्लेखनीय सुधार आएको छ, जसले देशको बाह्य वित्तीय स्थितिमा सकारात्मक संकेत दिएको छ। समीक्षा अवधिमा चालु खाता २७९ अर्ब ६५ करोड रुपैयाँले बचतमा रहेको छ। अघिल्लो वर्षको सोही अवधिमा चालु खाता १४७ अर्ब ७८ करोड रुपैयाँले बचतमा रहेको थियो। अमेरिकी डलरमा हेर्दा, अघिल्लो वर्ष १ अर्ब १० करोड डलर बचतमा रहेको चालु खाता समीक्षा अवधिमा १ अर्ब ९९ करोड डलर बचतमा पुगेको छ। यसले चालु खातामा दोहोरो अंकको मजबुत सुधार भएको स्पष्ट गर्छ। अर्थविद्हरूका अनुसार चालु खातामा आएको यो सुधारको मुख्य आधार विप्रेषण आप्रवाहमा भएको तीव्र वृद्धि हो। यद्यपि व्यापार घाटा र सेवा खातामा दबाब कायमै रहे पनि विप्रेषण र द्वितीय आयका कारण चालु खाता सन्तुलनमा बलियो अवस्थामा पुगेको देखिन्छ।Current Account and Balance of Payments Record Strong Surplus, Backed by Remittance Inflows Nepal’s external sector strengthened significantly in the first four months of fiscal year 2082/83 (up to mid-November 2025), with both the current account and the balance of payments posting substantially higher surpluses than last year. The company has fixed Poush 7 as the book closure date. Accordingly, only shareholders who maintain their shareholding before this date will be eligible to attend the AGM. According to the company, the AGM will consider and approve the annual report, the auditor’s report for fiscal year 2081/82, including the profit and loss statement, financial statements, and cash flow statement. The meeting will also appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2082/83 and determine the auditor’s remuneration.

स्वदेशमै शतप्रतिशत पुनर्बीमा अनिवार्य गरेपछि जीवन बीमक असन्तुष्ट काठमाडौं — नेपाल बीमा प्राधिकरणले जीवन बीमासहित विभिन्न बीमा क्षेत्रको पुनर्बीमा शतप्रतिशत स्वदेशमै गर्नुपर्ने व्यवस्था लागू गरेपछि जीवन बीमा कम्पनीहरू असन्तुष्ट बनेका छन् । बीमाको आधारभूत सिद्धान्तविपरीत जोखिमलाई एउटै स्थानमा केन्द्रित गरिएको भन्दै बीमकहरूले उक्त निर्णयप्रति आपत्ति जनाएका हुन् । प्राधिकरणले बीमक पुनर्बीमा निर्देशिका–२०८० जारी गर्दै जीवन बीमा मात्र नभई मोटर बीमा, कृषि, पशुपन्छी तथा जडीबुटी बीमा, हुलदंगा तथा आतंकवाद बीमा र अन्य विविध बीमाको पुनर्बीमा पनि शतप्रतिशत स्वदेशी पुनर्बीमा कम्पनीमार्फत गर्नुपर्ने व्यवस्था गरेको छ । निर्देशिकाको दफा ८ अनुसार स्वदेशी पुनर्बीमकले प्राप्त पुनर्बीमा अस्वीकार गर्नसमेत नपाउने व्यवस्था गरिएको छ ।Life Insurance Companies Unhappy with Mandatory Domestic Reinsurance Policy Kathmandu — Life insurance companies have expressed dissatisfaction after the Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA) introduced a policy requiring 100 percent domestic reinsurance for life insurance and several other insurance categories. Insurers argue that the decision contradicts the fundamental principles of insurance by concentrating risk within a single geography, potentially increasing systemic vulnerability. The NIA recently issued the Insurers’ Reinsurance Directive–2080, making it mandatory for life insurance, motor insurance, agriculture, livestock and herbal insurance, riot and terrorism insurance, and other miscellaneous insurance to be reinsured entirely through domestic reinsurance companies. According to Clause 8 of the directive, domestic reinsurers are also prohibited from rejecting any reinsurance business received under this arrangement.
