इरान–अमेरिका वार्तामा मतभेद, ८० मिनेटको छलफल निष्कर्षविहीनIran–US Talks End in Deadlock After 80-Minute Meeting in Switzerland
स्विट्जरल्यान्डमा आइतबार इरान र संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिकाका प्रतिनिधिबीच करिब ८० मिनेट लामो वार्ता भएको छ। दुई देशबीच ६० दिने युद्धविरामलाई दीर्घकालीन शान्ति सम्झौतामा रूपान्तरण गर्ने प्रयास भए पनि पहिलो चरणको छलफलमै प्रमुख मतभेद देखिएको छ।
इरानको सरकारी सञ्चारमाध्यमका अनुसार, इजरायल र हेज्बुल्लाहबीचको जारी द्वन्द्व पूर्ण रूपमा समाधान नभएसम्म थप वार्ता अघि बढ्न नसक्ने अडान तेहरानले राखेको छ।
वार्ताको अर्को चरण कहिले हुने भन्ने विषयमा हालसम्म कुनै औपचारिक सहमति भएको छैन। छलफलमा पाकिस्तान र कतारका अधिकारीहरूले मध्यस्थकर्ताको भूमिका निर्वाह गरेका थिए।
बीबीसीका अनुसार अमेरिकी पक्षले तीन प्रमुख मुद्दामा वार्ता अड्किएको जनाएको छ— होर्मुज स्ट्रेट खुला गर्ने विषय, दक्षिणी लेबनानमा युद्धविराम कार्यान्वयन, र इरानको आणविक कार्यक्रमसँग सम्बन्धित विवाद।
यसअघि अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्पले हेज्बुल्लाहविरुद्ध कडा चेतावनी दिँदै इरानलाई रोक्न नसके थप सैन्य कारबाही हुन सक्ने बताएका थिए। इरानले भने कुनै पनि सम्भावित संघर्षका लागि तयार रहेको प्रतिक्रिया दिएको छ।
Representatives of Iran and the United States held around 80 minutes of talks in Switzerland on Sunday, as both sides attempted to turn a 60-day ceasefire into a long-term peace agreement. However, the initial round of discussions ended with key disagreements remaining unresolved.
According to Iranian state media, Tehran maintained that further negotiations would only be possible after the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah is fully resolved.
No date has yet been confirmed for the next round of talks. Officials from Pakistan and Qatar reportedly acted as mediators during the meeting.
Citing a US official, the BBC reported that the discussions stalled on three major issues: Iran’s position on fully opening the Hormuz Strait, implementation of a ceasefire in southern Lebanon, and disputes related to Iran’s nuclear agreement.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump warned Iran over Hezbollah’s activities, saying further military action could follow if the group is not restrained. Iran, meanwhile, has stated that it is prepared for any potential conflict.
