काठमाडौं — माउन्ट एभरेष्ट पावर डेभलपमेन्ट लिमिटेड ले सर्वसाधारणका लागि निष्काशन गरेको प्राथमिक शेयर (आईपीओ) मा आवेदन दिने आज अन्तिम दिन रहेको छ। इच्छुक लगानीकर्ताले सोमबार कार्यालय समयभित्र आफ्नो आवेदन पेश गर्न सक्ने बिक्री प्रबन्धकले जनाएको छ।

कम्पनीले सर्वसाधारणका लागि कुल १४ लाख २७ हजार ६ सय कित्ता साधारण शेयर निष्काशन गरेको हो। प्रतिकित्ता १०० रुपैयाँ अंकित मूल्यका आधारमा निष्काशन गरिएको यस शेयरबाट कम्पनीले १४ करोड २७ लाख ६० हजार रुपैयाँ संकलन गर्ने लक्ष्य राखेको छ।

यसअघि कम्पनीले आयोजना प्रभावित स्थानीय बासिन्दा, वैदेशिक रोजगारीमा रहेका नेपाली, कर्मचारी तथा सामूहिक लगानी कोषका लागि छुट्याइएको हिस्सा बाँडफाँट गरिसकेको छ। ती समूहका लागि सुरक्षित गरिएको शेयर छुट्याएपछि बाँकी रहेको १४ लाख २७ हजार ६ सय कित्ता सर्वसाधारणका लागि खुला गरिएको हो।

कम्पनीले सोलुखुम्बुमा १२ मेगावाट क्षमताको दूधकुण्ड खोला जलविद्युत आयोजना सञ्चालन गर्दै आएको छ। उपलब्ध शेयर संख्याका आधारमा न्यूनतम आवेदन गर्ने करिब १ लाख ४२ हजार ७ सय ६० जनाले १०–१० कित्ताका दरले शेयर प्राप्त गर्न सक्ने अनुमान गरिएको छ।

Kathmandu — The initial public offering (IPO) of Mount Everest Power Development Limited, which opened for the general public on June 17, closes today. Interested investors can submit their applications within office hours on Monday.

The company has issued 1.4276 million ordinary shares worth Rs 142.76 million to the general public at a face value of Rs 100 per share. The offering is part of the company's plan to raise public investment for its hydropower operations.

Before opening the issue to the public, the company had already allocated shares to project-affected locals, Nepalis working abroad, employees, and mutual funds as required under the approved issuance structure. The remaining shares were then made available to general investors.

Based on the number of shares on offer, around 142,760 applicants are expected to receive 10 shares each if the issue is oversubscribed. The company currently operates the 12 MW Dudhkunda Khola Hydropower Project in Solukhumbu district.
