राष्ट्र बैंकको निर्देशन : ‘कर्जा असुली मात्र होइन, विस्तारमा पनि ध्यान दिनुहोस्’ काठमाडौं — नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले वाणिज्य बैंकहरुका प्रमुख कार्यकारी अधिकृतहरुलाई कर्जा विस्तारतर्फ समेत गम्भीर ध्यान दिन निर्देशन दिएको छ। वित्तीय प्रणालीमा अत्यधिक तरलता रहेको र त्यसलाई व्यवस्थापन गर्न चुनौती भोगिरहेको अवस्थालाई मध्यनजर गर्दै राष्ट्र बैंकले कर्जा प्रवाह बढाई अर्थतन्त्रलाई सक्रिय बनाउन निर्देशन दिएको हो। चालु आर्थिक वर्षको मौद्रिक नीतिको कार्यान्वयन र बैंकहरुको तयारी विषयमा मंगलबार आयोजित छलफलमा गभर्नर डा. विश्वनाथ पौडेलले कर्जा असुलीमा मात्र नभई नयाँ कर्जा प्रवाहमा पनि सक्रियता देखाउन बैंकहरुलाई आग्रह गरे। गभर्नरले भने, “अहिले बैंकहरु असुलीमै केन्द्रित छन्, तर कर्जा विस्तार नभए अर्थतन्त्र गतिशील हुँदैन।”NRB Directs Banks: Focus Not Just on Recovery, but on Credit Expansion Too Kathmandu — Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has directed Chief Executive Officers of commercial banks to focus not only on loan recovery but also on credit expansion. Amid excess liquidity in the financial system and challenges in managing it, the central bank urged bankers to boost lending in order to keep the economy dynamic. In a formal discussion held on Tuesday regarding the implementation and understanding of the current fiscal year's monetary policy, Governor Dr. Bishwanath Paudel instructed banks to prioritize new loan disbursements alongside recovery efforts. He emphasized that merely focusing on recoveries has halted credit expansion, which could stagnate economic activity.
