He stated that all work would go through an all-party committee at each ward and municipality, ensuring representation of all active political parties, so no malpractice would take place. He further pledged that landless squatters who have earned land but have no property in their names will be provided land for settlement, and those living in risky areas will be relocated to safer places.

सम्पत्ति शुद्धीकरण निवारण ऐनको पालना गरौं नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले सम्पत्ति शुद्धीकरण (मनी लाउन्डरिङ) निवारण सम्बन्धी कानुनको पालना गर्न सबैलाई आग्रह गरेको छ। बैंकले स्मरण गराएको छ कि सम्पत्ति शुद्धीकरण निवारण ऐन, २०६४ अनुसार कसुरमार्फत प्राप्त सम्पत्तिलाई लुकाउने, छल्ने, रूपान्तरण गर्ने वा प्रयोग गर्ने कार्यलाई ‘सम्पत्ति शुद्धीकरण’ मानिनेछ। त्यस्तो सम्पत्तिलाई गैरकानुनी स्रोत ढाकछोप गर्ने उद्देश्यले गरिएको कारोबार, स्थानान्तरण, स्वामित्व परिवर्तन वा तेस्रो पक्षलाई सहयोग गर्ने जस्ता गतिविधिहरू गैरकानुनी ठहरिने स्पष्ट गरिएको छ।NRB Urges Compliance with Anti-Money Laundering Act Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has called on everyone to comply with the laws related to the prevention of money laundering. The central bank reminded that, under the Asset (Money Laundering) Prevention Act, 2008 (2064 B.S.), concealing, disguising, converting, or using assets obtained through criminal activities is considered “money laundering.” Transactions, transfers, changes in ownership, or assistance to third parties aimed at hiding the illegal origin of such assets are deemed unlawful. Similarly, individuals who conspire, assist, encourage, advise, or are directly or indirectly involved in such activities will also be subject to punishment under the law, NRB has warned.
