काठमाडौं । IGI Prudential Insurance Limited को नाफामा चालु आर्थिक वर्षको तेस्रो त्रैमाससम्म ठूलो गिरावट आएको छ । कम्पनीले मात्र ४ लाख ३८ हजार रुपैयाँ खुद नाफा आर्जन गरेको छ, जुन अघिल्लो वर्षको सोही अवधिको २६ करोड ५१ लाख रुपैयाँको तुलनामा ९९.८३ प्रतिशतले कम हो । यद्यपि खुद बीमाशुल्क आम्दानी ९२ करोड ९१ लाख रुपैयाँबाट बढेर १ अर्ब ४ करोड रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ । तर कुल खर्च र दाबी भुक्तानी बढेपछि नाफा घटेको हो । यस अवधिमा कम्पनीको प्रति सेयर आम्दानी (EPS) पनि ११.६७ रुपैयाँबाट घटेर ०.०२ रुपैयाँमा झरेको छ ।Kathmandu. IGI Prudential Insurance Limited has reported a significant decline in its profit for the third quarter of the current fiscal year. The company posted a net profit of just NPR 438,000, down 99.83% from NPR 26.51 million in the same period last year. However, net insurance premium income rose from NPR 929.1 million to NPR 1.04 billion. Despite this growth, higher total expenses and increased claim payments led to the sharp fall in profit. Earnings per share (EPS) also dropped from NPR 11.67 to NPR 0.02.

चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को १० महिनामा सरकारले कुल ११ खर्ब ५३ अर्ब रुपैयाँ अर्थात् ५८.७५ प्रतिशत बजेट खर्च गरेको छ। चालुतर्फ ६८.०४ प्रतिशत खर्च हुँदा पुँजीगत खर्च भने २६.८७ प्रतिशतमा सीमित भएको छ। मध्यपूर्व तनावका कारण बिटुमिन इन्धन अभाव हुँदा पूर्वाधार निर्माण प्रभावित भई पुँजीगत खर्च कमजोर बनेको बताइएको छ। यस्तै, वित्तीय व्यवस्थातर्फ ६४.१६ प्रतिशत बजेट खर्च भएको छ। सरकारले १४ खर्ब ८० अर्ब राजस्व उठाउने लक्ष्य राखे पनि हालसम्म ९ खर्ब ७० अर्ब रुपैयाँ मात्रै संकलन गरेको छ।The government has spent Rs. 11.53 trillion, or 58.75 percent of the total budget, in the first 10 months of the current fiscal year 2025/26. Recurrent expenditure reached 68.04 percent, while capital expenditure remained low at 26.87 percent. Officials said infrastructure spending was affected by a shortage of bitumen fuel due to tensions in the Middle East. Under financial management, 64.16 percent of the allocated budget has been spent. Meanwhile, the government has collected Rs. 9.70 trillion in revenue against its target of Rs. 14.80 trillion for the fiscal year.

सरकारले निजी क्षेत्रलाई विद्युत् व्यापारमा सहभागी गराउने तयारी गर्दै आवश्यक कानुनी व्यवस्था अघि बढाएको छ। ऊर्जा मन्त्रालयका अनुसार विद्युत् व्यापारको लाइसेन्स अब नियमावली होइन, ऐनमार्फत प्रदान गरिनेछ। ऊर्जामन्त्री विराजभक्त श्रेष्ठ ले निजी क्षेत्रको मनोबल बढाउन र ऊर्जा क्षेत्रमा सहभागिता विस्तार गर्न यस्तो व्यवस्था गर्न लागिएको बताएका छन्। विद्युत् विधेयक २०८२ संसदमा पेश भइसकेको छ।The government is preparing to allow private sector participation in electricity trading through a new legal framework. According to the Ministry of Energy, electricity trading licenses will be issued through an Act instead of regulations to avoid future legal complications. Latest data show that banks and financial institutions have deposited NPR 973.70 billion at Nepal Rastra Bank, while nearly NPR 1.3 trillion in lendable funds still remain available in the banking system. Although deposits have grown rapidly, credit expansion has remained sluggish, leading to a buildup of unused funds. The central bank has been absorbing the excess liquidity through deposit collection instruments and NRB bonds.
