After a week of continuous decline, the market showed a positive reversal, although the trading volume decreased compared to the previous session. According to NEPSE, the total turnover stood at Rs. 2.79 billion, down from Rs. 3.27 billion recorded on Thursday. Out of all traded companies, 163 gained, 78 declined, and 8 remained unchanged. The Banking Index increased by 11.64 points to 1,349.36, while the Development Bank Index fell by 11.64 points to 5,258.87. The Finance Index rose by 11.16 points to 2,172.86, and the Hotels & Tourism Index climbed 42.96 points to 5,973.13. The Hydropower Index surged by 22.03 points to 3,269.78, showing renewed investor interest in the energy sector.

राष्ट्र बैंकको आग्रहः भाइटीकाबाहेक अन्य दिन पनि बैंकिङ सेवा सञ्चालन गर्न निर्देशन नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थालाई भाइटीकाको दिन बाहेक अन्य दिन पनि भन्सार जाँचपासका लागि बैंकिङ सेवा सञ्चालनमा राख्न आग्रह गरेको छ । केन्द्रीय बैंकले क, ख र ग वर्गका सबै बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थालाई पत्राचार गर्दै व्यापार सहजीकरण र आपूर्ति प्रणाली सहज बनाइराख्नका लागि बैंकिङ प्रणाली सञ्चालनमा राख्न निर्देशन दिएको हो । त्यसैगरी राष्ट्र बैंकले शनिबारका लागि ‘रियल टाइम ग्रस सेटलमेन्ट’ (RTGS) प्रणाली पनि सञ्चालनमा रहने जनाएको छ । सूचनाअनुसार यो प्रणाली बिहान १० बजेदेखि अपराह्न ४ बजेसम्म सञ्चालनमा रहनेछ । राष्ट्र बैंकको यो व्यवस्था अनुसार आयात–निर्यातसँग सम्बन्धित वित्तीय कारोबार तथा भन्सार जाँचपासका कामहरु तिहारको समयमा समेत सहज रूपमा सञ्चालन हुने भएका छन् ।NRB Urges BFIs to Operate Banking Services Except on Bhai Tika Day Kathmandu — Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has requested banks and financial institutions to continue providing banking services for customs clearance on all days except Bhai Tika. Similarly, NRB has announced that the Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system will remain operational on Saturday as well. According to the notice, the RTGS service will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. With this provision, financial transactions and customs clearance related to imports and exports will continue smoothly even during the Tihar festival period.

जेनजी आन्दोलनका क्रममा भएका क्षतिको बीमा दाबी भुक्तानी प्रक्रिया सुरु भएको छ। बीमा प्राधिकरणका अनुसार निर्जीवन बीमा कम्पनीहरूले हालसम्म अग्रिमसहित २ अर्ब रुपैयाँभन्दा बढी भुक्तानी गरिसकेका छन्। कुल ३ हजार १६६ दाबीमध्ये करिब २३ अर्ब २० करोडको दाबी परेका छन्, जसमा २ अर्ब २ करोड भुक्तानी भइसकेको छ। २ हजार ७९१ दाबीका लागि सर्भेयर खटाइएका छन् र ६५४ प्रतिवेदन पेश भइसकेका छन्। नेपाल पुनर्बीमा कम्पनीमा १५ अर्ब ७६ करोड बराबरका २ हजार ७३३ पुनर्बीमा दाबी दर्ता भएका छन् र १ अर्ब ६३ करोड अग्रिम भुक्तानी दिइसकेको छ।The process of insurance claim payments for damages caused during the Gen-Z Movement has started. According to the Insurance Board, non-life insurance companies have already paid over NPR 2 billion, including advance payments. Out of 3,166 total claims worth NPR 23.20 billion, around NPR 2.02 billion has been settled so far. Surveyors have been deployed for 2,791 claims, and 654 reports have been submitted. Likewise, Nepal Reinsurance Company has received 2,733 reinsurance claims worth NPR 15.76 billion and has already provided advance payments of NPR 1.63 billion to insurers.

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell by 18.40 points to close at 2,487 points, marking its lowest level since mid-October last year. The persistent weakness reflects investors’ growing caution amid uncertainty about market stability and policy direction. The NEPSE index has been falling steadily over the past several weeks. With buying pressure weakening and investors preferring to stay on the sidelines, the overall market mood has turned defensive. Out of 251 traded companies, the prices of 45 advanced, 197 declined, and 9 remained unchanged. १७ निर्माण कम्पनीहरू कालोसूचीमा, सार्वजनिक निर्माणमा सहभागिता प्रतिबन्ध नेपाल सरकारको सार्वजनिक खरिद अनुगमन कार्यालयले देशभरका १७ वटा निर्माण कम्पनीहरूलाई कालोसूचीमा राखेको छ। कार्यालयले बिहीबार सूचना जारी गर्दै ती कम्पनीहरूलाई एकदेखि दुई वर्षसम्मका लागि कालोसूचीमा राखिएको जानकारी दिएको हो। कार्यालयका अनुसार ती कम्पनीहरूले सम्झौता उल्लङ्घन, निर्माण कार्य समयमा सम्पन्न नगरेको, वा कार्य सम्पूर्ण रूपमा सम्पन्न नगरेको कारण कारबाही गरिएको हो। सार्वजनिक खरिद ऐन, २०६३ को दफा ६३(१) बमोजिम ती कम्पनीहरूलाई कालोसूचीमा राखिएको जनाइएको छ।17 Construction Companies Blacklisted by the Government The Government of Nepal has blacklisted 17 construction companies for failing to comply with contract agreements and delays in project completion. The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers issued a notice on Thursday announcing the decision. According to the PPMO, these companies have been blacklisted for a period ranging from one to two years under Section 63(1) of the Public Procurement Act, 2063 (2006) for violating contract terms, not completing construction work on time, or failing to complete assigned projects.
