एचएलआई लार्ज क्याप फन्डको असोज मसान्तसम्मको नेभ विवरण सार्वजनिक हिमालयन लाइफ इन्स्योरेन्स म्युचुअल फण्ड अन्तर्गत सञ्चालित एचएलआई लार्ज क्याप फन्ड (HLI Large Cap Fund) ले आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२ असोज मसान्तसम्मको खुद सम्पत्ति मूल्य (Net Asset Value – NAV) विवरण सार्वजनिक गरेको छ। नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्डबाट २०८२ साउन २२ गते अनुमति प्राप्त यो बन्दमुखी योजना धितोपत्र सम्बन्धी ऐन, २०६३ र सामूहिक लगानी कोष नियमावली, २०६७ बमोजिम सञ्चालित छ। प्रकाशित विवरणअनुसार, असोज मसान्तसम्म फन्डको कुल सम्पत्ति रु. ४ अर्ब ८५ करोड ४३ लाख ४५ हजार ६७५ पुगेको छ।HLI Large Cap Fund Publishes NAV Report for the End of Ashwin 2082 Himalayan Life Insurance Mutual Fund, under the management of Himalayan Investment Banker Limited, has published the Net Asset Value (NAV) report of its scheme HLI Large Cap Fund as of the end of Ashwin 2082. The closed-end fund operates under the provisions of the Securities Act, 2063 and the Mutual Fund Regulation, 2067, and was officially approved by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) on 2082/04/22 (August 6, 2025). According to the published data, the fund’s total assets stood at Rs. 4.85 billion (Rs. 4,85,43,45,675) as of Ashwin end.

सार्वजनिक संस्थानको व्यवस्थापन र सुशासनमा सुधार गर्ने सरकारको नीति स्वीकृत सरकारले सार्वजनिक संस्थानहरूको कार्यक्षमता, पारदर्शिता र जवाफदेहितामा सुधार ल्याउने उद्देश्यसहित ‘सार्वजनिक संस्थानको व्यवस्थापन तथा सुशासन नीति, २०८२’ स्वीकृत गरेको छ। मन्त्रिपरिषद्को असोज १२ गते बसेको बैठकले उक्त नीति पारित गरेको हो। नीतिको दीर्घकालीन लक्ष्य सार्वजनिक संस्थानहरूलाई प्रतिस्पर्धी, व्यवसायिक, स्वायत्त र नतिजामुखी बनाउने रहेको छ। अर्थ मन्त्रालयका अनुसार, देशमा हाल ४५ वटा सार्वजनिक संस्थान सञ्चालनमा छन्, जसमा २० वटा पूर्ण सरकारी स्वामित्वमा र २५ वटा आंशिक लगानीमा रहेका छन्। तीमध्ये २८ संस्थान नाफामा र १५ घाटामा छन्। आर्थिक वर्ष २०८०/८१ मा सरकारले यी संस्थानहरूमा करिब सात खर्ब रुपैयाँभन्दा बढी लगानी गरेको छ, तर लगानीको प्रतिफल घट्दै २.४ प्रतिशतमा सीमित भएको छ। घाटामा रहेका संस्थानहरूको कुल घाटा तीन अर्ब ६३ करोड रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ। नीतिले संस्थानहरूको कमजोर वित्तीय स्थिति व्यवस्थापकीय कमजोरी, राजनीतिक हस्तक्षेप, अप्रभावकारी निर्णय प्रक्रिया, कमजोर आन्तरिक नियन्त्रण र बढी प्रशासनिक खर्चका कारण भएको ठहर गरेको छ। यसलाई सम्बोधन गर्न सरकारले संस्थानहरूको सञ्चालन र नियमनलाई अलग गर्ने, नीति निर्माण गर्ने निकायले सञ्चालनमा प्रत्यक्ष हस्तक्षेप गर्न नपाउने व्यवस्था गर्ने बताइएको छ।Government Approves Policy to Improve Governance and Performance of Public Enterprises The Government of Nepal has approved the Public Enterprises Management and Governance Policy, 2082, aimed at enhancing the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of state-owned enterprises. The policy, endorsed by the Cabinet meeting on Asoj 12, envisions transforming public enterprises into competitive, professional, autonomous, and results-oriented institutions in the long run. According to the Ministry of Finance, there are currently 45 public enterprises operating in Nepal — 20 fully government-owned and 25 with partial government investment. Of these, 28 are in profit while 15 are incurring losses. In FY 2080/81, the government invested a total of Rs 703.93 billion in these enterprises — including Rs 364.86 billion in equity and Rs 339.07 billion as loans. However, the return on investment (ROI) has declined from 3.8% in FY 2079/80 to just 2.4% in the current fiscal year. Loss-making enterprises collectively recorded a deficit of Rs 3.63 billion, while the profits of profitable institutions dropped by 11.5% year-on-year.

धान, गहुँ, तेलबिउ र तरकारीमा आयातको चरम निर्भरता — नेपालले तीन महिनामै १६ अर्बभन्दा बढी खर्च नेपालको कृषि क्षेत्र अझै पनि विदेशी उत्पादनमा अत्यधिक निर्भर रहेको छ। चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को पहिलो तीन महिनाको तथ्यांकले देखाउँछ कि देशले धान, गहुँ, तेलबिउ, तरकारी र फलफूलजस्ता खाद्य वस्तुहरूमा मात्रै १६ अर्ब रुपैयाँभन्दा बढी खर्च गरेको छ। कृषि क्षेत्रलाई आत्मनिर्भर बनाउन सरकारी नीति निरन्तर आएको भए पनि आयातको दबाब झन् बढ्दै गएको छ। भन्सार विभागको अनुसार, Chapter 10 (Cereals) अन्तर्गत धान, गहुँ, मकै र चामलजस्ता वस्तु आयातका लागि मात्रै १२ अर्ब ४७ करोड रुपैयाँ बराबरको खर्च भएको छ। यसैगरी, Chapter 12 (Oilseeds and Oleaginous Fruits) अन्तर्गत तेलबिउ तथा बालीजन्य वस्तु आयात ४ अर्ब २८ करोड रुपैयाँ बराबर पुगेको छ। तरकारी र फलफूलमा समेत ठूलो रकम खर्च भएको छ। Chapter 07 (Vegetables) अन्तर्गत ८ अर्ब ६४ करोड रुपैयाँ र Chapter 08 (Fruits and Nuts) अन्तर्गत ८ अर्ब ८० करोड रुपैयाँ बराबरको आयात भएको छ। यी चार शीर्षक मात्रले नै नेपालको कुल आयातमा ३४ अर्ब रुपैयाँभन्दा बढीको हिस्सा ओगटेका छन्।Food Imports Still Soaring – Nepal Spends Over Rs. 16 Billion on Cereals, Oilseeds, and Vegetables Nepal’s agriculture sector remains heavily dependent on foreign products despite years of government promises to achieve self-sufficiency. According to the Department of Customs, during the first three months of the current fiscal year 2082/83 (mid-July to mid-October 2025), the country spent over Rs. 16 billion on importing key agricultural and food products such as rice, wheat, oilseeds, vegetables, and fruits. Under Chapter 10 (Cereals), Nepal imported Rs. 12.47 billion worth of rice, wheat, maize, and other grains. Similarly, Chapter 12 (Oilseeds and Oleaginous Fruits) shows that oilseeds and related crops worth Rs. 4.28 billion were brought into the country. The import of fresh produce is also striking. Nepal imported Rs. 8.64 billion worth of vegetables (Chapter 07) and Rs. 8.80 billion worth of fruits and nuts (Chapter 08). Combined, these four categories alone accounted for over Rs. 34 billion, highlighting the deep-rooted dependency on food imports.

मेसिन र सवारीसाधनमै ६५ अर्बभन्दा बढीको घाटा चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को पहिलो तीन महिनामा नेपालले मेसिनरी, विद्युतीय उपकरण र सवारीसाधन आयातका कारण ६५ अर्ब रुपैयाँभन्दा बढीको व्यापार घाटा बेहोरेको छ। भन्सार विभागका अनुसार Chapter 84 (Machinery and Mechanical Appliances) र Chapter 87 (Vehicles and Parts) बाट मात्रै देशले क्रमशः ३२ अर्ब ७ करोड ४३ लाख रुपैयाँ र २९ अर्ब ३३ करोड ९५ लाख रुपैयाँ बराबरका वस्तु आयात गरेको छ। यी दुई शीर्षकबाट निर्यात भने नगन्य रहेको — मेसिनरीतर्फ ४४ करोड १० लाख रुपैयाँ र सवारीसाधनतर्फ १७ लाख रुपैयाँ मात्रै भएको छ। यसरी दुबै शीर्षकमा जम्मा गरी करिब ६१ अर्ब रुपैयाँभन्दा बढीको घाटा भएको देखिन्छ। विशेषज्ञहरूका अनुसार यो प्रवृत्ति नेपालको उद्योग, निर्माण र यातायात क्षेत्रको तीव्र आयात–निर्भरता को प्रतिफल हो। यद्यपि औद्योगिक पूर्वाधार र उत्पादन विस्तारका लागि मेसिन र उपकरण आवश्यक छन्, अत्यधिक आयातले विदेशी मुद्रा सञ्चितिमा दवाव सिर्जना गरिरहेको छ।Machinery and Vehicle Imports Deepen Nepal’s Trade Deficit – Over Rs. 60 Billion in Just Three Months Nepal recorded a trade deficit exceeding Rs. 60 billion in just three months of the current fiscal year (2082/83) due to massive imports of machinery, electrical equipment, and vehicles, according to the Department of Customs. During the period between mid-July and mid-October 2025, imports under Chapter 84 (Machinery and Mechanical Appliances) reached Rs. 32.07 billion, while Chapter 87 (Vehicles and Parts) accounted for Rs. 29.33 billion. Together, these two categories made up one of the largest import segments in Nepal’s trade portfolio. Exports from these sectors, however, remained negligible — only Rs. 441 million worth of machinery and Rs. 17 million worth of vehicles were exported during the same period. As a result, the combined trade deficit from these two chapters stood at more than Rs. 61 billion. Economic experts say this reflects Nepal’s rising dependence on imported industrial and transport goods. Although such imports indicate growing investment in industrial infrastructure, they also add heavy pressure on the country’s foreign currency reserves and overall trade imbalance.

तेल र पेट्रोलियम पदार्थमै ६६ अर्ब बढीको आयात — कुल आयातको सबैभन्दा ठूलो हिस्सा चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को पहिलो तीन महिनामा नेपालले तेल र पेट्रोलियम पदार्थ (Mineral Fuels and Oils) मा मात्रै ६६ अर्ब ८७ करोड रुपैयाँभन्दा बढीको आयात गरेको छ। यो रकमले कुल आयातको करिब १४ प्रतिशत हिस्सा ओगटेको भन्सार विभागको तथ्यांकले देखाउँछ। साउनदेखि असोज मसान्तसम्म (मध्य जुलाईदेखि मध्य अक्टोबर २०२५) नेपालले पेट्रोलियम पदार्थ, डिजेल, ग्यास, र अन्य इन्धनजन्य वस्तु आयातका लागि ६६ अर्ब ८७ करोड ४६ लाख रुपैयाँ खर्च गरेको हो। यो रकमले अन्य सबै वस्तुहरूको तुलनामा सबैभन्दा ठूलो हिस्सा ओगटेको छ।Fuel Imports Dominate Nepal’s Trade – Rs 66.8 Billion Spent in Just Three Months Nepal spent over Rs. 66.87 billion on the import of fuel and petroleum products during the first three months of the current fiscal year (FY 2082/83), making it the largest single import category in the country’s total trade. According to the Department of Customs, the import value of mineral fuels, mineral oils, and related products (Chapter 27) reached nearly 14 percent of total imports between mid-July and mid-October 2025. During this three-month period, Nepal’s total imports stood at Rs. 468.08 billion, while exports were worth Rs. 72.78 billion. Fuel alone accounted for a major portion of the import bill, significantly contributing to the Rs. 395.30 billion trade deficit recorded during the period.

चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को पहिलो तीन महिनामा नेपालले करिब रू चार खर्ब बराबरको व्यापार घाटा बेहोरेको छ। भन्सार विभागले आइतबार सार्वजनिक गरेको असोज मसान्तसम्मको तथ्यांकअनुसार, देशले यो अवधिमा रू ४ खर्ब ६८ अर्ब ८ करोड बराबरको वस्तु आयात गर्दा रू ७२ अर्ब ७८ करोड २८ लाख बराबरको मात्रै निर्यात गरेको हो। यसरी तीन महिनामा नेपालले कुल रू ५ खर्ब ४० अर्ब ८६ करोड बराबरको वैदेशिक व्यापार गरेको र त्यसमा रू ३ खर्ब ९५ अर्ब ३० करोड बराबरको घाटा बेहोरेको विभागले जनाएको छ।Nepal has suffered a massive trade deficit of nearly NPR 400 billion during the first quarter of the fiscal year 2082/83. According to data published by the Department of Customs, the country imported goods worth NPR 468 billion while exports stood at just NPR 72.7 billion by the end of Ashoj. This resulted in a total foreign trade volume of NPR 540.86 billion and a trade deficit of NPR 395.30 billion.
