मितेरी डेभलपमेन्ट बैंक राष्ट्र बैंकको कारबाहीमा मितेरी डेभलपमेन्ट बैंक नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकको कारबाहीमा परेको छ। नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकको बैंक सुपरीवेक्षण विभागले चालु आर्थिक वर्षको पहिलो त्रैमासिक अवधिमा बैंकलाई कारबाही गरेको हो। राष्ट्र बैंकले बैंकलाई तोकिएको अधिकतम ब्याजदर अन्तरको सीमा पालना नगरेको भन्दै कारबाही गरेको हो। राष्ट्र बैंकले मितेरी बैंकलाई भविष्यमा यस्ता कार्य नगर्न सचेत गराएको छ। २०८१ असार महिनामा नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले जारी गरेको एकीकृत निर्देशन २०८० को इजाजत प्राप्त निर्देशन नं १५ को बुँदा नं ९४० अनुसार ४.६० प्रतिशतको अधिकतम ब्याजदर अन्तर भन्दा बढी ब्याजदर अन्तर कायम गर्न नपाउने व्यवस्था उल्लंघन गरेको पाइएको छ। उक्त उल्लंघनका कारण राष्ट्र बैंकले मितेरी बैंकको शाखा विस्तारमा रोक लगाएको छ। साथै, भूकम्प पीडितलाई प्रवाह गरिने पुनर्कर्जा बाहेकका अन्य पुनर्कर्जा सुविधा प्रदान नगर्ने गरी कारबाही गरिएको हो। राष्ट्र बैंकले यस घटनालाई गम्भीर रूपमा लिँदै वित्तीय अनुशासन पालना गर्न सबै बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थालाई पुनः सचेत गराएको छ।Miteri Development Bank Penalized by Nepal Rastra Bank Miteri Development Bank has faced action from Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB). The Bank Supervision Department of NRB penalized the bank during the first quarter of the current fiscal year for violating regulatory directives. The penalty was imposed after the bank failed to maintain the interest rate spread within the prescribed limit. NRB has also cautioned the bank not to repeat such actions in the future. As per the Integrated Directives 2080, issued by NRB in Ashar 2081, Miteri Bank violated Clause 940 of Directive No. 15, which mandates a maximum interest rate spread of 4.60%. In response, NRB has imposed restrictions on the bank's branch expansion and prohibited it from offering refinancing facilities, except for those provided to earthquake victims. NRB has emphasized strict adherence to financial discipline and reminded all banks and financial institutions to comply with regulatory provisions.
