Despite Rs. 212 billion yet to mature, the central bank is using its deposit collection instrument to mop up surplus funds. The deposit collection will be for a 21-day period, with bidding scheduled for 3 PM today. Bids must be placed in a minimum amount of Rs. 100 million, with increments in multiples of Rs. 50 million. Any leftover amount after division will not be accepted. The maturity date, including principal and interest, is set for Ashad 8 (approximately three weeks from today).

According to the issue manager, Laxmi Sunrise Capital, the deadline was extended because Sunday (Jestha 18) falls on the public holiday of Bhoto Jatra. As a result, interested investors can now apply until Monday, Jestha 20. Previously, the last date to apply for the IPO was set for Jestha 19. Due to the public holiday, the extension provides applicants with an additional opportunity to invest. Trade Tower Limited has received approval from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to issue 48.696% of its paid-up capital of NPR 815.6 million — that is, NPR 397.17 million worth of 3,971,693 shares.

Among the 89 hydropower companies listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), 31 companies have reported negative earnings per share (EPS) — accounting for 34% of all listed hydropower firms. Sahas Urja Limited (SAHAS) recorded the highest EPS at Rs. 29.41 per share, showcasing strong earnings performance. On the other end of the spectrum, Mandakini Hydropower (MCHL) posted the worst result, with negative EPS of Rs. 45.03, indicating significant losses and poor financial health.

      निफ्राद्वारा हरित ऊर्जा ऋणपत्रको निष्कासन सुरु, पाँच अर्ब बराबरको लगानी अवसर काठमाडौं – नेपाल इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर बैंक लिमिटेड (निफ्रा) ले ‘निफ्रा हरित ऊर्जा ऋणपत्र २०८८–८९’ नामक नयाँ ऋणपत्र निष्कासन आज जेठ १८ गतेदेखि औपचारिक रूपमा सुरु गरेको छ। बैंकले यो ऋणपत्रमार्फत कुल ५ अर्ब रुपैयाँ बराबरको पूँजी संकलन गर्ने लक्ष्य राखेको छ। बैंकले प्रति ऋणपत्र १,००० रुपैयाँ अंकित दरमा जम्मा ५० लाख कित्ता जारी गर्न लागेको हो। नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्डबाट वैशाख ३० गते स्वीकृति प्राप्त भइसकेको यस योजनाअन्तर्गत, ३० लाख कित्ता ऋणपत्र व्यक्तिगत तवरमा लगानीकर्तालाई बिक्री गरिनेछ।NIFRA Launches Green Energy Bonds Worth Rs 5 Billion Kathmandu – Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA) has officially launched the issuance of its latest bond offering, “NIFRA Green Energy Bond 2088–89”, starting today, Jestha 18.
