आगामी आर्थिक वर्ष २०८३/८४ को बजेटमा सुनको भन्सार महसुल १० प्रतिशतबाट २० प्रतिशत पुर्याइएपछि नेपाली बजारमा सुन र चाँदीको मूल्यमा उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि भएको छ। आइतबार सुन प्रतितोला २० हजार ५०० रुपैयाँले बढेर ३ लाख ११ हजार १०० रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ भने चाँदी ३०५ रुपैयाँले बढेर प्रतितोला ५ हजार ३४५ रुपैयाँमा कारोबार भइरहेको छ।Gold and silver prices recorded a sharp increase in Nepal on Sunday after the government doubled the customs duty on gold from 10% to 20% in the budget for fiscal year 2083/84. Gold prices rose by Rs. 20,500 per tola to Rs. 311,100, while silver prices increased by Rs. 305 per tola to Rs. 5,345. The hike is mainly attributed to the increased customs duty announced in the new budget.
