The index saw a sharp surge starting at 11:15 AM, peaking shortly after, though it experienced some volatility around midday. However, from 1:15 PM onward, the index regained momentum and maintained steady growth until 2:00 PM. The total turnover amounted to Rs. 6,670,197,181.5, with 14,987,723 shares traded across 2,840 transactions, indicating strong market participation. Among the stocks mapped under the NEPSE Index, 192 advanced, 51 declined, and only 1 remained unchanged, reflecting widespread positive sentiment among investors.
