नेपालको निर्माण क्षेत्र अहिले दोहोरो दबाबमा परेको छ। अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय बजारमा इन्धन मूल्य वृद्धि र निर्माण सामग्रीमा केही आयातकर्ताको कृत्रिम अभावले लागत बढाइरहेको छ। नेपाल आयल निगमले पेट्रोल र डिजेलको मूल्य बढाएको छ भने व्यवसायीहरूले सिमेन्ट र फलामे डन्डीमा मूल्य फेरबदल र अभाव देखिएको बताइरहेका छन्। नेपाल निर्माण व्यवसायी महासंघले बजार स्थिरीकरणका लागि ‘कन्स्ट्रक्सन होलिडे’ घोषणा गर्न सरकारसँग माग गरेको छ। उद्योगीहरूले भने मूल्य वृद्धि उत्पादन र ढुवानी लागत बढेकाले भएको बताएका छन्।Nepal’s construction sector is facing dual pressure as rising international fuel prices and alleged cartel practices in construction materials drive up costs.
