नेपाली बजारमा सुन र चाँदीको मूल्य निरन्तर बढ्दै, नयाँ रेकर्ड कायम नेपाली बजारमा सुन र चाँदीको मूल्य लगातार बढ्दै गइरहेको छ र नयाँ रेकर्ड बनाइरहेको छ। विशेष गरी, अमेरिकी डलरको मूल्य वृद्धि र नेपाली मुद्रा कमजोर हुँदै जानु, यी दुई मुख्य कारणका रूपमा देखिएका छन्, जसका कारण नेपाली बजारमा सुनको मूल्य तीव्र गतिमा बढेको हो। विशेषज्ञहरूका अनुसार, अमेरिकी डलरसँग स्थिर विनिमय दर भएको नेपाली मुद्रा भारतीय रुपैयाँसँगको कमजोर सम्बन्धका कारण अप्रत्यक्ष दबाबमा परेको हो। जसका कारण डलर महँगिँदै गएको र सुन आयात खर्चिलो बन्दा घरेलु बजारमा सुनको मूल्य उच्च हुँदै गएको हो। नेपाल सुनचाँदी व्यवसायी महासंघका अनुसार, मंगलबार सुनको मूल्य तोलामा ३ लाख ९ हजार ३ सय रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ, जुन हालसम्मकै उच्च हो। सोमबार सुन प्रतितोला ३ लाख ९ हजार रुपैयाँमा कारोबार भएको थियो। यसै गरी, चाँदीको मूल्य पनि १०५ रुपैयाँले वृद्धि भएको छ, र मंगलबार चाँदी प्रतितोला ६ हजार ८ सय ७० रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ।Gold and Silver Prices Continue to Rise in Nepal, Setting New Records The prices of gold and silver in the Nepali market continue to rise, setting new records daily. The primary reasons for this upward trend are the increase in gold prices in the global market and the weakening of the Nepali rupee against the US dollar. Experts suggest that the Nepali rupee, which has a fixed exchange rate with the US dollar, has come under indirect pressure as the Indian rupee weakens. As a result, the US dollar has become more expensive, making gold imports costlier, and leading to a sharp increase in the price of gold in the domestic market. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold reached NPR 309,300 per tola on Tuesday, marking the highest value ever recorded. The price of gold was NPR 309,000 per tola on Monday. Similarly, the price of silver increased by NPR 105 per tola, rising to NPR 6,870 on Tuesday, which is also the highest price ever recorded for silver.

After a strong gain in the previous session, short-term investors took profits, causing a slight dip. On Monday, the NEPSE index dropped by 3.07 points, settling at 2,769.09. The trading volume, however, increased, with a total value of NPR 16.35 billion in shares traded, compared to NPR 13.78 billion on Sunday. Five stocks hit the positive circuit breaker, including SY Panel Nepal, Himstar Energy, Sanvi Energy, Sapta Koshi Development Bank, and Mountain Hydro Nepal. The stock price of Corporate Development Bank rose by nearly 10%, and Trade Tower shares climbed by more than 9%. Among the 13 subgroups, four saw positive growth, with the hotel and tourism subgroup leading the way with a 1.67% increase.

Gold rose by NPR 5,200 per tola, and silver increased by NPR 285 per tola. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, hallmarked gold is now priced at NPR 309,000 per tola, surpassing the previous record of NPR 303,800. Silver also set a new record, reaching NPR 6,765 per tola, breaking the earlier record of NPR 6,480.

The institution’s net profit for the first six months reached NPR 26.6 million, a 72.15% rise from the same period last year. This growth is attributed to higher interest income and operational profit, with interest income increasing by 55.18% and fee income rising by 63.10%. The microfinance also saw a rise in its operating income and profit, which grew by 36.15% and 67.77%, respectively. With a paid-up capital of NPR 132.3 million and reserves of NPR 78.5 million, the institution has mobilized NPR 19.5 billion in deposits and provided loans worth NPR 21.06 billion by the end of the second quarter.
