मुक्तिनाथ विकास बैंक लिमिटेडले गत आर्थिक वर्षको नाफाबाट कुल १८.२० प्रतिशत लाभांश वितरण गर्ने घोषणा गरेको छ। जसमा १३.५३ प्रतिशत बोनस शेयर र ४.६७ प्रतिशत नगद लाभांश (कर प्रयोजनार्थ सहित) समावेश छन्। यो लाभांश नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकको स्वीकृति र आगामी साधारण सभाले पारित गरेपछि मात्र वितरण हुनेछ।Muktinath Bikas Bank Limited has declared a total dividend of 18.20 percent from the profit of the last fiscal year. The dividend includes 13.53 percent bonus shares and 4.67 percent cash dividend (including tax). The distribution will take place after approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and endorsement by the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

A team led by FNCCI President Chandra Prasad Dhakal visited Hotel Hilton, Kantipur Media Group, Golchha Group, Bhatbhateni Supermarket, and businessman Upendra Mahato’s properties to assess the extent of the damage. After the inspection, President Dhakal stressed that creating an environment where private investments remain secure should be a top priority. He urged the government to take strict action against those responsible and provide fair compensation to the victims. Dhakal warned that such incidents could negatively affect the overall business environment and called for strong peace and security measures. The inspection team included former FNCCI President Shekhar Golchha, Senior Vice President Anjan Shrestha, Vice Presidents Surkrishna Vaidya, Hemraj Dhakal, Jyotsna Shrestha, and Treasurer Bharat Raj Acharya, among others.

The report states, “Because of the looting of the country, people are being forced to endure hunger, disease, and death.”

भदौ मसान्तसम्म सरकारको बजेट खर्च ९.१७ प्रतिशत काठमाडौं । चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को पहिलो दुई महिनामा सरकारको बजेट खर्च ९ दशमलव १७ प्रतिशत पुगेको छ। महालेखा नियन्त्रक कार्यालयका अनुसार भदौ मसान्तसम्म कुल १९ खर्ब ६४ अर्ब ११ करोड विनियोजन गरिएको बजेटमध्ये १ खर्ब ८० अर्ब १७ करोड ४ लाख खर्च भएको हो। खर्च संरचना हेर्दा, चालुतर्फ ११ खर्ब ८० अर्ब ९८ करोड विनियोजन गरिएकोमध्ये १ खर्ब १४ अर्ब १८ करोड ७२ लाख खर्च भएको छ, जुन ९ दशमलव ६७ प्रतिशत हो। त्यस्तै, पुँजीगततर्फ ४ खर्ब ७ अर्ब ८८ करोड विनियोजन भए पनि अहिलेसम्म ६ अर्ब ३५ करोड ३३ लाख मात्र खर्च भएको छ, जसको प्रतिशत १ दशमलव ५६ पर्छ। वित्तीय व्यवस्थातर्फ भने ३ खर्ब ७५ अर्ब २४ करोड विनियोजन भएकोमा ५९ अर्ब ६२ करोड ९९ लाख खर्च भइसकेको छ, जुन १५ दशमलव ८९ प्रतिशत हो।Government Spends 9.17% of Budget by End of Bhadra Kathmandu – In the first two months of the current fiscal year 2082/83, the government’s budget expenditure has reached 9.17 percent. According to the Office of the Financial Comptroller General, out of the total budget of NPR 1.964 trillion, the government has spent NPR 180.17 billion by the end of Bhadra. Looking at the breakdown, the current expenditure stands at NPR 114.18 billion out of the allocated NPR 1.180 trillion, which is 9.67 percent. The capital expenditure, however, remains very low with only NPR 6.35 billion spent out of NPR 407.88 billion, equivalent to just 1.56 percent. On the other hand, under financial management, NPR 59.62 billion has been spent out of the NPR 375.24 billion allocation, accounting for 15.89 percent.

कर तिर्ने समय एक महिना थपियो काठमाडौं । सरकारले कर तिर्ने समयसीमा एक महिना थप गरेको छ। आन्तरिक राजस्व विभागका महानिर्देशक मदन दाहालका अनुसार, भदौ २५ गतेभित्र बुझाइसक्नुपर्ने साउन महिनाको कर अब एक महिना पछि बुझाउन सकिने भएको हो। “कर तिर्ने समय एक महिना थप्ने निर्णय भइसकेको छ। यसबारेको सूचना छिट्टै राजपत्रमा प्रकाशित हुनेछ,” दाहालले जानकारी दिए। विद्यमान कानुनअनुसार मूल्य अभिवृद्धि कर (भ्याट), अन्तःशूल्कलगायत कर प्रत्येक महिनाको २५ गतेभित्र कर कार्यालयमा बुझाउनुपर्ने व्यवस्था छ। तर यसपटकको जेन–जी आन्दोलन र पछिल्ला राजनीतिक घटनाक्रमका कारण उद्योगी–व्यवसायीहरूले समयमै कर बुझाउन नसकेको भन्दै सरकारसँग समय थप गर्न आग्रह गरेका थिए।Government Extends Tax Payment Deadline by One Month Kathmandu – The government has extended the tax payment deadline by one month. According to Madan Dahal, Director General of the Inland Revenue Department, businesses that were required to pay taxes for the month of Shrawan by Bhadra 25 will now have an additional month to make the payment. “The decision to extend the tax deadline by one month has already been made, and an official notice will soon be published in the Nepal Gazette,” Dahal stated. As per existing law, Value Added Tax (VAT), excise duty, and other taxes must be paid to the respective tax office by the 25th of every month. However, due to the Gen-Z movement and recent political turmoil, industrialists and entrepreneurs were unable to clear their dues on time and had requested an extension.

According to the directive issued by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) on Bhadra 27, NEPSE has confirmed that regular share trading will begin as scheduled. The market had remained temporarily halted due to recent political and social circumstances. As per the official notice signed by NEPSE spokesperson Murahari Parajuli, investors will once again be able to carry out transactions in the stock market from Ashwin 2. This announcement is expected to provide relief and boost confidence among investors, many of whom had faced uncertainty during the suspension period.

अर्थ मन्त्रालयले जेनजी आन्दोलनका क्रममा भएको भौतिक क्षतिको पुनर्निर्माण र आसन्न निर्वाचनका लागि आवश्यक स्रोत जुटाउन तीन सदस्यीय कार्यदल गठन गरेको छ। कार्यदलमा सुमन दाहाल, धनीराम शर्मा र उत्तरकुमार खत्री रहेका छन्। मन्त्रालयले साना तथा टुक्रे आयोजना कटौतीबाट करिब १ खर्ब रुपैयाँ जुट्ने जनाएको छ।The Ministry of Finance has formed a three-member task force to arrange resources for reconstruction after the GenZ movement damages and to fund the upcoming elections. The task force comprises Suman Dahal, Dhaniram Sharma, and Uttarkumar Khatri. The ministry stated that cutting small and scattered projects could generate around NPR 100 billion.

भदौ २३ गते सोमबार भएको शेयर कारोबारको राफसाफ तथा फछर्यौट प्रक्रिया स्थगित गरिएको छ। आन्दोलनका क्रममा तोडफोड र आगजनीका कारण दलाल भुक्तानी प्रणालीमा समस्या देखिएपछि स्टक ब्रोकर एसोसिएसनको अनुरोधमा सिडिएस एण्ड क्लियरिङ्गले अर्को सूचना नआएसम्मका लागि प्रक्रिया रोक्ने निर्णय गरेको हो। सो दिन बजार ३५.९९ अंकले घटेर २६७२.२५ विन्दुमा झरेको थियो, भने भदौ २२ गतेको कारोबारको राफसाफ भने पूरा भएको छ।The settlement and clearing of share transactions from Monday, Bhadra 23, have been suspended until further notice. वाणिज्य बैंकको मुद्दती ब्याजदर असोजमा झन् घट्यो, निक्षेपकर्ताको प्रतिफल थप चापमा काठमाडौं। देशभर सञ्चालनमा रहेका २० वटै वाणिज्य बैंकले असोज महिनाका लागि नयाँ ब्याजदर सार्वजनिक गरेका छन्। भदौको तुलनामा असोजमा मुद्दती निक्षेपको औसत अधिकतम दर झन् तल झरेको छ। उपलब्ध तथ्यांकअनुसार व्यक्तिगत मुद्दती निक्षेपको औसत अधिकतम दर भदौको ५.५७७ प्रतिशतबाट असोजमा ५.४६३५ प्रतिशतमा झरेको छ, जसले ०.११३५ प्रतिशत बिन्दुको थप गिरावट देखाउँछ। यसरी झरेको दरले साना बचतकर्तादेखि नियमित मुद्दती खातामा भरोसा गर्ने आम निक्षेपकर्तासम्मको प्रतिफलमा सीधा असर पार्ने देखिन्छ। बैंक–बैंकको सूचीकृत दर हेर्दा २० मध्ये ९ वटा बैंकले व्यक्तिगत मुद्दती निक्षेपमा कटौती गरेका छन्। प्राइम कमर्सियल, सानिमा, एभरेष्ट, सिटिजन्स, एनआइसी एशिया, कुमारी, कृषि विकास, नेपाल बैंक र नेपाल एसबीआईले असोजमा कटौती गरेर अघि बढेका छन्। यीमध्ये केही बैंकले एकैपटक ०.५० प्रतिशत बिन्दुसम्म झारेका छन् भने केहीले ०.०७–०.२५ प्रतिशत बिन्दुबीच सानो तर महत्त्वपूर्ण कटौती गरेका छन्। कटौतीको यो लहरले बजारमा ‘सस्तो निक्षेप’ नै बैंकहरूको हालको प्राथमिकता भएको संकेत गर्छ।Commercial Banks Cut Fixed Deposit Rates Further in Ashoj, Depositors’ Returns Under Growing Pressure Kathmandu. All 20 commercial banks operating in Nepal have published their interest rates for Ashoj, and the figures show that fixed deposit rates have fallen further compared to Bhadra. According to the available data, the maximum average interest rate on individual fixed deposits dropped from 5.577% in Bhadra to 5.4635% in Ashoj, a decline of 0.1135 percentage points. This reduction directly affects the returns of small savers and ordinary depositors who rely on fixed deposits for steady income. Out of 20 banks, 9 have slashed their individual fixed deposit rates in Ashoj. Prime Commercial, Sanima, Everest, Citizens, NIC Asia, Kumari, Agriculture Development, Nepal Bank, and Nepal SBI all lowered their rates. Some banks cut sharply by 0.50 percentage points, while others made smaller but meaningful reductions ranging from 0.07 to 0.25 points. This wave of reductions signals that banks are prioritizing “cheap deposits” rather than aggressively competing to attract funds.

अध्ययनका लागि मात्र एक महिनामा १४ अर्बभन्दा बढी रुपैयाँ विदेशियो देशभित्रै विश्वविद्यालय, कलेज र शैक्षिक संस्था भए पनि विदेशिने विद्यार्थीको संख्या झन् बढ्दै गएको छ। नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले सोमबार सार्वजनिक गरेको तथ्यांकअनुसार चालु आर्थिक वर्षको पहिलो महिनामा मात्र अध्ययनका लागि रु १४ अर्ब ३१ करोड बराबरको रकम विदेशिएको छ। गत आर्थिक वर्षको सोही अवधिमा अध्ययनका लागि रु १४ अर्ब ९६ करोड व्यय भएको थियो। यस वर्षको खर्च अलि कम भए पनि अध्ययनका लागि विदेशिने प्रवृत्ति अझै उच्च नै देखिएको राष्ट्र बैंकको प्रतिवेदनमा उल्लेख छ। शिक्षासँगै सेवा खातामा समेत ठूलो रकम बाहिरिएको छ। समीक्षा अवधिमा भ्रमण व्यय २.८ प्रतिशतले घटेर रु २१ अर्ब ७० करोड पुगेको छ। अघिल्लो वर्षको सोही अवधिमा भ्रमण व्यय रु २२ अर्ब ३२ करोड थियो।Over Rs 14 Billion Spent Abroad for Education in Just One Month Despite the presence of universities, colleges, and educational institutions within the country, the trend of students going abroad for higher studies continues to rise. According to the data published by Nepal Rastra Bank on Monday, in the first month of the current fiscal year alone, Rs 14.31 billion was spent on education abroad. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the amount spent was slightly higher at Rs 14.96 billion, showing a marginal decline this year. However, the overall tendency of Nepali students opting for foreign education remains strong. Alongside education, a large sum has also been spent under the services account. During the review period, travel expenses decreased by 2.8 percent to Rs 21.70 billion, compared to Rs 22.32 billion in the same period last year.

Initially, the deadline was set until Bhadra 23, which was later pushed to Bhadra 31 due to insufficient applications. Following the recent Gen-Z movement and disruptions in the country, the company has once again extended the deadline to Ashoj 6. The company is currently issuing 100% rights shares at a ratio of 1:1, equivalent to its paid-up capital of NPR 465,714,300. This amounts to 4,657,143 rights shares, each priced at NPR 100.
