पछिल्लो दशकमा पुँजी बजारले उल्लेखनीय फड्को मारेको तथ्य प्रस्तुत गर्दै पाण्डेले ७५ लाखभन्दा बढी डिम्याट खाता खोल्नु र बजार पुँजीकरण कुल गार्हस्थ्य उत्पादन (जीडीपी) को ६६ प्रतिशत पुग्नु सकारात्मक सूचक भएको बताए। यद्यपि, पुँजी बजारको विकासलाई नेप्से सूचकको अंक बढेको आधारमा मात्रै मूल्यांकन गर्न नहुने भन्दै उनले यसको प्रतिफल वास्तविक अर्थतन्त्र, रोजगारी सिर्जना र औद्योगिकीकरणमा देखिनुपर्नेमा जोड दिए।Acknowledging the significant strides the capital market has made over the past decade, Pandey noted that the opening of over 7.5 million Demat accounts and the market capitalization reaching 66 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) are highly positive indicators. However, he cautioned against measuring market development solely by the rise in the NEPSE index. Instead, he stressed that the true impact of a growing capital market must be reflected in the real economy through tangible industrialization, investment, and job creation.
