नेपाल चेम्बर अफ कमर्सका अध्यक्ष कमलेश अग्रवाल ले नेपालको पुँजी बजारमा रहेको ‘डबल आइजिन’ प्रणालीले बजारलाई अविश्वसनीय र विकृत बनाएको बताएका छन्। नेपाल चेम्बर अफ कमर्स र सीडीएस एण्ड क्लियरिङ लिमिटेड को कार्यक्रममा बोल्दै उनले एउटै कम्पनीको शेयरमा एउटै आइजिन हुनुपर्नेमा जोड दिए। फरक–फरक आइजिन र ड्यूअल प्राइसले स्पेकुलेसन बढाउने, तरलता घटाउने र नेपाल स्टक एक्सचेञ्ज को सूचकांकलाई वास्तविक नबनाउने उनको भनाइ छ। उनले संस्थापक शेयरको लकइन अवधि र कमजोर नियमनले बजारमा असन्तुलन ल्याएको बताए। नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्ड, नेप्से र सीडीएससी लाई सुदृढ बनाउँदै पारदर्शी र प्रतिफलमा आधारित बजार विकास गर्नुपर्नेमा उनले जोड दिए। Nepal Chamber of Commerce President Kamlesh Agrawal has said that the “double ISIN” system has made Nepal’s capital market unreliable and distorted. Speaking at a program organized by CDS and Clearing Limited, he stressed that each company should have only one ISIN, as per international practice. He noted that dual pricing and separate ISINs encourage speculation, reduce liquidity, and prevent the NEPSE index from reflecting the real market situation. He also pointed out that promoter share lock-in periods and weak regulation have created market imbalances. Emphasizing the role of SEBON, NEPSE, and CDSC, he urged authorities to strengthen institutions and develop a transparent, efficient, and performance-based capital market to support sustainable economic growth.

साताको दोस्रो कारोबार दिन नेपाल स्टक एक्सचेन्ज (नेप्से) परिसूचक २.४१ अंकले बढेर २६१६.९७ विन्दुमा बन्द भएको छ। बजार बढे पनि कारोबार रकम घटेर ५ अर्ब १३ करोड रुपैयाँमा सीमित भएको छ। सालपा विकास बैंक सकारात्मक सर्किटमा पुगेको छ भने केही कम्पनीका सेयर मूल्य उल्लेख्य रूपमा बढेका छन्। १३ उपसमूहमध्ये ६ बढेका र ७ घटेका छन्। On the second trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index gained 2.41 points to close at 2,616.97. Despite the rise in the index, total turnover declined to NPR 5.13 billion. Salapa Development Bank hit the positive circuit, and several stocks recorded notable gains. सामाजिक सुरक्षा कोषमा फागुन १० गतेसम्म योगदानकर्ताबाट १ खर्ब २ अर्ब ५४ करोड रुपैयाँभन्दा बढी रकम जम्मा भएको छ। हाल कोषमा २८ लाखभन्दा बढी योगदानकर्ता र २३ हजारभन्दा बढी रोजगारदाता सूचीकृत छन्। औपचारिक क्षेत्रमा कार्यरत श्रमिकको तलबबाट ३१ प्रतिशत योगदान जम्मा गरिन्छ। कोषले संकलित रकम सरकारी ऋणपत्र, बैंक निक्षेप, म्युचुअल फन्ड लगायतका क्षेत्रमा सुरक्षित रूपमा लगानी गर्दै आएको छ। औपचारिक र वैदेशिक रोजगारीमा रहेका श्रमिकको सहभागिता बढी भए पनि अनौपचारिक र स्वरोजगार क्षेत्रको सहभागिता न्यून रहेको छ।The Social Security Fund has collected over NPR 102.54 billion in contributions as of Falgun 10. More than 2.8 million contributors and over 23,000 employers are currently registered. Under the scheme, 31 percent of a worker’s basic salary is deposited into the fund. The collected amount is safely invested in government securities, bank deposits, mutual funds, and other financial instruments. While participation from formal-sector and migrant workers is high, enrollment from informal and self-employed workers remains low.

During the first seven months of fiscal year 2082/83, over 1.4 million smartphones worth Rs. 26.68 billion were imported, generating Rs. 4.97 billion in government revenue. Imports rose by 40.59 percent compared to last year. Due to taxes and profit margins, retail prices increase by around 40 percent. The growing use of AI-supported and advanced devices has also boosted demand for expensive smartphones.

फागुन ११ गते सोमबार नेपाली बजारमा सुन र चाँदीको मूल्य पुनः बढेको छ। नेपाल सुनचाँदी व्यवसायी महासंघका अनुसार सुन प्रतितोला ३ हजार २०० रुपैयाँले बढेर ३ लाख १३ हजार ५०० रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ भने चाँदी १७० रुपैयाँले बढेर ५ हजार ५९५ रुपैयाँमा कारोबार भइरहेको छ। दुबै धातुको मूल्य आइतबारको तुलनामा थप उकालो लागेको हो। Gold and silver prices increased again in the Nepali market on Monday, Falgun 11. According to Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, hallmark gold rose by Rs. 3,200 per tola to reach Rs. 313,500, while silver increased by Rs. 170 per tola and is being traded at Rs. 5,595. Both precious metals continued their upward trend from Sunday.

Out of the total 500,000 units issued, 300,000 units will be sold through private placement, while the remaining 200,000 units will be offered to the general public through a public issue. गरिमा सुवर्ण योजनाको इकाई बिक्री फागुन २८ गतेदेखि खुला हुने गरिमा म्युचुअल फण्ड अन्तर्गत सञ्चालन हुने ‘गरिमा सुवर्ण योजना’को इकाई बिक्री यही फागुन २८ गतेदेखि खुला हुने भएको छ। योजनाको कोष प्रवर्द्धक Garima Bikas Bank Limited र योजना व्यवस्थापक तथा बिक्री प्रबन्धक Garima Capital Limited रहेका छन्। योजनाअन्तर्गत कुल १० करोड इकाई निष्कासन गरिने जनाइएको छ। जसमध्ये बीज पूँजीस्वरूप ६० लाख इकाई योजना व्यवस्थापक गरिमा क्यापिटललाई र ९० लाख इकाई कोष प्रवर्द्धक गरिमा विकास बैंकलाई सुरक्षित राखिएको छ। बाँकी ३ करोड ५० लाख इकाई सर्वसाधारण लगानीकर्ताका लागि निष्कासन गरिनेछ। प्रथम चरणमा ५ करोड इकाई सार्वजनिक निष्कासनका लागि खुला गरिनेछ। त्यसपछि सामूहिक लगानी कोष नियमावलीअनुसार योजना व्यवस्थापकले तोकेको वितरकमार्फत निरन्तर रूपमा खरिद–बिक्री खुला गरिनेछ। यस योजनामार्फत लगानीकर्तालाई दीर्घकालीन लगानीका अवसर प्रदान गर्ने उद्देश्य रहेको जनाइएको छ।Unit Sale of Garima Suvarna Yojana to Open from Falgun 28 The unit sale of ‘Garima Suvarna Yojana’, a scheme operated under Garima Mutual Fund, is set to open from Falgun 28. The scheme is promoted by Garima Bikas Bank Limited, while Garima Capital Limited has been appointed as the fund manager and issue manager. Under the scheme, a total of 100 million (10 crore) units will be issued. Out of the total units, 6 million units have been reserved as seed capital for the fund manager, Garima Capital Limited, and 9 million units have been allocated to the fund promoter, Garima Bikas Bank Limited. The remaining 35 million units will be offered to the general public.

The company plans to issue 1.5 million ordinary shares at a face value of Rs. 100 per share. Citizens Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager.

साताको पहिलो कारोबार दिन नेप्से परिसूचक २७.५९ अंक घटेर २६१४.५५ विन्दुमा बन्द भएको छ। सेन्सेटिभ, फ्लोट र सेन्सेटिभ फ्लोट इण्डेक्स पनि घटेका छन्। यस दिन करिब ६ अर्ब ६९ करोड रुपैयाँ बराबरको शेयर कारोबार भएको छ। सालपा विकास बैंक सकारात्मक सर्किटमा कारोबार हुँदा बुद्ध भूमि नेपाल हाइड्रोपावर सर्वाधिक घटेको छ। कारोबार रकमका आधारमा आँखु खोला जलविद्युत कम्पनी शीर्ष स्थानमा रह्यो। सबै १३ उपसमूहको परिसूचक घटेको छ।The benchmark index of the Nepal Stock Exchange fell by 27.59 points to close at 2,614.55 on the first trading day of the week. Trading volume declined to around NPR 6.69 billion. Salapa Bikas Bank hit the positive circuit, while Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydropower recorded the highest loss. Ankhu Khola Hydropower led in turnover, and all 13 sectoral indices closed in negative territory.

काठमाडौं । अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मुद्रा कोष (आईएमएफ) ले नेपालमा बढ्दो निष्क्रिय कर्जाका कारण वित्तीय क्षेत्रमा जोखिम बढ्दै गएको भन्दै सतर्क रहन आग्रह गरेको छ । बैंकिङ क्षेत्रको निष्क्रिय कर्जा ५.४ प्रतिशत पुगेको र आगामी दिनमा अझै बढ्न सक्ने सम्भावना रहेको आईएमएफले जनाएको छ । गभर्नर Bishwanath Paudel नेतृत्वको Nepal Rastra Bank सँगको छलफलपछि आईएमएफले नियामक प्रणाली सुदृढ गर्न, खराब कर्जा असुली सुधार गर्न र राष्ट्र बैंक ऐन संशोधनमार्फत स्वायत्तता बलियो बनाउन सुझाव दिएको छ । कार्यकारी बोर्डको स्वीकृतिपछि नेपालले करिब ४३.२ मिलियन अमेरिकी डलर सहायता पाउनेछ । राजनीतिक अनिश्चितता र वित्तीय जोखिमले अर्थतन्त्रमा दबाब रहने भएकाले सुधार प्रक्रिया निरन्तर जारी राख्नुपर्नेमा आईएमएफले जोड दिएको छ ।Kathmandu — The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has warned that rising non-performing loans are increasing risks in Nepal’s financial sector and urged greater vigilance. NPLs have reached 5.4 percent and may rise further, potentially affecting banks’ capital strength. After discussions with Governor Bishwanath Paudel and the Nepal Rastra Bank, the IMF recommended strengthening supervision, improving bad loan recovery, and amending the central bank law to enhance autonomy and governance. Upon Executive Board approval, Nepal is expected to receive USD 43.2 million in financial support. The IMF also cautioned that political uncertainty and financial vulnerabilities remain key risks, emphasizing the need for continued reforms.
