नेपाल इन्भेष्टमेन्ट मेगा बैंकको नाफामा ४३.०५ प्रतिशतको गिरावट नेपाल इन्भेष्टमेन्ट मेगा बैंकको खुद नाफा गत आर्थिक वर्षको सोही अवधिको तुलनामा ४३.०५ प्रतिशतले घटेको छ। खुद ब्याज आम्दानीमा गिरावट र इम्पेरमेन्ट चार्जमा उल्लेख्य वृद्धि भएपछि बैंकको नाफामा दबाब आएको हो। चालू आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को दोस्रो त्रैमाससम्मको अपरिष्कृत वित्तीय विवरण अनुसार पुस मसान्तसम्म बैंकले १ अर्ब ६१ करोड ३० लाख रुपैयाँ खुद नाफा आर्जन गरेको छ। गत आर्थिक वर्षको सोही अवधिमा बैंकले २ अर्ब ८३ करोड २३ लाख रुपैयाँ खुद नाफा कमाएको थियो। समीक्षा अवधिमा बैंकको खुद ब्याज आम्दानी १२.८३ प्रतिशतले घटेर ६ अर्ब ४२ करोड ३ लाख रुपैयाँमा झरेको छ। यद्यपि, खुद फि तथा कमिशन आम्दानी भने ८.६६ प्रतिशतले बढेको छ।Nepal Investment Mega Bank's Profit Drops by 43.05% Nepal Investment Mega Bank's net profit has decreased by 43.05% compared to the same period last year. नेपाल बैंकको नाफामा १८३ प्रतिशतको वृद्धि, इम्पेयरमेन्ट चार्जमा भारी गिरावट नेपाल बैंक लिमिटेडले चालु आर्थिक वर्षको दोस्रो त्रैमाससम्ममा उल्लेख्य नाफा वृद्धि गरेको छ, जसको मुख्य कारण इम्पेयरमेन्ट चार्जमा आएको ठूलो कमी हो। बैंकले पहिलो ६ महिनामा १ अर्ब ३० करोड ४८ लाख रुपैयाँ खुद नाफा कमाउँदै गत आर्थिक वर्षको सोही अवधिको तुलनामा १८३ प्रतिशतको वृद्धि देखाएको हो। गत आर्थिक वर्षको यो अवधिमा बैंकले ४६ करोड १० लाख रुपैयाँ खुद नाफा कमाएको थियो। खुद नाफामा आएको तीव्र सुधारको मुख्य कारण भने इम्पेयरमेन्ट चार्जमा आएको भारी गिरावट हो। पछिल्लो वर्षको पहिलो ६ महिनामा २ अर्ब ५२ करोड ७४ लाख रुपैयाँ रहेको इम्पेयरमेन्ट चार्ज चालु आर्थिक वर्षको सोही अवधिमा घटेर ४७ करोड ९९ लाख रुपैयाँमा झरेको छ। ब्याज र गैर-ब्याज आम्दानी घट्दा पनि बैंकको नाफा उल्लेख्य रूपमा बढेको छ। यसको मुख्य कारण कर्जा नोक्सानी व्यवस्थापन खर्च (इम्पेयरमेन्ट चार्ज) मा आएको तीव्र कमी हो। समीक्षा अवधिमा बैंकको ब्याज आम्दानी ३.९७ प्रतिशत घटेर ४ अर्ब ४४ करोड २९ लाख रुपैयाँमा सीमित भएको छ, जबकि खुद फि तथा कमिशन आम्दानी १७.१६ प्रतिशत घटेर ४४ करोड ८४ लाख रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ। यसको परिणामस्वरूप, बैंकको सञ्चालन मुनाफा ३९४.६४ प्रतिशत बढेर २ अर्ब ६ करोड १५ लाख रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ, तर कुल सञ्चालन आम्दानी भने १.५९ प्रतिशत घटेर ५ अर्ब ३४ करोड ९० लाख रुपैयाँमा सीमित रहेको छ।Nepal Bank Reports 183% Profit Growth, Significant Decline in Impairment Charges Nepal Bank Limited has reported a significant increase in profit for the second quarter of the current fiscal year, primarily due to a substantial reduction in impairment charges. As of the end of December, the bank recorded a net profit of NPR 2.11 billion, marking a 2.04% increase compared to NPR 2.07 billion during the same period last year. The improvement in interest income, which increased by 5.96%, has supported the growth in profits. The bank’s interest income rose to NPR 4.57 billion, compared to NPR 4.31 billion in the previous fiscal year. Similarly, fee and commission income showed a significant increase. The income from fees and commissions rose by 20.38%, from NPR 765 million in the previous year to NPR 920.9 million, contributing to a 9.73% increase in total operating income. However, the rise in impairment charges has limited the overall profit growth rate. During the review period, the bank's impairment charge increased from NPR 349.5 million to NPR 562.7 million.

In a notice released on Tuesday, the office informed that the bidding process for purchasing the bonds will open on January 14, Wednesday. The bond issuance date is set for January 15, 2082, and the interest payment will be made on January 15, 2091. The interest rate will be determined through the bidding process. The bond’s interest will be paid semi-annually, and it will be subject to income tax as per the regulations.

The primary reasons for this upward trend are the increase in gold prices in the global market and the weakening of the Nepali rupee against the US dollar. As a result, the US dollar has become more expensive, making gold imports costlier, and leading to a sharp increase in the price of gold in the domestic market.
