कुमारी बैंक लिमिटेड (KBL) ले गत आर्थिक वर्षको मुनाफाबाट शेयरधनीलाई कुनै पनि लाभांश नदिने निर्णय गरेको छ। कात्तिक २६ गते बसेको सञ्चालक समितिको बैठकले बैंकको वित्तीय अवस्था र नियामक आवश्यकताका आधारमा लाभांश वितरण नगर्ने निर्णय गरेको हो। बैंकले यस निर्णयसम्बन्धी वित्तीय विवरण नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकमा पठाउने जनाएको छ।Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) has decided not to declare any dividend from the profit of the last fiscal year. The company’s sales revenue dropped by 27.64%, falling from Rs. 1.48 billion to Rs. 1.07 billion. As a result, net profit also plunged by 54.61%, decreasing to Rs. 90.2 million from Rs. 198.8 million in the same period last year. HDL’s earnings per share (EPS) slipped to Rs. 11.75, while net worth per share stands at Rs. 138.04. The company currently maintains a paid-up capital of Rs. 3.07 billion and reserves of Rs. 1.18 billion.

The central bank will conduct the auction today at 2 PM via the online bidding system for a tenure of 175 days. According to the latest NRB data, total deposits in the banking system have reached Rs. 7.514 trillion. Despite continuously falling interest rates, credit disbursement remains sluggish, leaving the banking system with excess liquidity. To manage this situation, NRB has repeatedly been using deposit collection tools to mop up surplus funds.

साञ्जेन जलविद्युत कम्पनीको नाफामा ठूलो सुधार, विद्युत बिक्री ७७९ प्रतिशतले बढ्यो साञ्जेन जलविद्युत कम्पनी लिमिटेड (SJCL) ले चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को पहिलो त्रैमाससम्मको अपरिष्कृत वित्तीय विवरण सार्वजनिक गरेको छ। विवरणअनुसार कम्पनीले विद्युत बिक्री आम्दानीमा उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि गर्दै नोक्सानी अवस्थाबाट नाफामा फर्किन सफल भएको छ। कम्पनीले चालु आर्थिक वर्षको पहिलो तीन महिनामा विद्युत बिक्रीमार्फत ५५ करोड ७९ लाख रुपैयाँ आम्दानी गरेको छ, जुन गत आर्थिक वर्षको सोही अवधिको ६ करोड ३४ लाख रुपैयाँ आम्दानीको तुलनामा ७७९.४५ प्रतिशतले बढी हो। आम्दानी बढेसँगै कम्पनीले गत वर्षको सोही अवधिमा ५ करोड ४९ लाख रुपैयाँ नोक्सानी व्यहोरेकोमा यस वर्ष सोही अवधिसम्ममा १५ करोड २८ लाख रुपैयाँ नाफा कमाएको छ।Sanjen Hydropower Limited Reports Impressive Turnaround; Revenue Surges by 779% Sanjen Hydropower Company Limited (SJCL) has published its unaudited financial report for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2082/83, revealing a significant improvement in performance and a strong recovery from losses to profit. According to the report, the company earned Rs. 55.79 crores from electricity sales during the first three months of the current fiscal year, marking an increase of 779.45% compared to the Rs. 6.34 crores earned during the same period last year. With this sharp rise in revenue, SJCL has moved from a loss of Rs. 5.49 crores in the same quarter last fiscal year to a net profit of Rs. 15.28 crores this year. The company attributed this remarkable improvement to the regular operation of its two projects — the 42.5 MW Sanjen Hydropower Project and the Sanjen Upper Hydropower Project. Following the completion of the Chilime–Trishuli 220 kV transmission line by the Nepal Electricity Authority, electricity generated from both projects is now transmitted through this line, significantly boosting electricity sales revenue.
