The bank had opened the issue on Asoj 2, offering 2.62 million units worth NPR 262.46 million at Rs. 100 per share in a 1:1 ratio. Shareholders registered till Bhadra 8 are eligible to apply. ICRA Nepal has rated the bank ICRANP-IR C+, indicating high credit risk. Global IME Capital is managing the issue, and applications can be submitted via C-ASBA member banks or Meroshare online. After the rights issue, the bank’s paid-up capital will reach NPR 524.93 million, which will be used for investments, infrastructure, and branch expansion.

The NEA reported that on Laxmi Puja last year, the total electricity demand across the country was 1,602 MW. This year, the demand rose by 48 MW, indicating a steady growth in power consumption during festive periods.       ३ महिनामा रु ३५ अर्बभन्दा बढी वैदेशिक लगानीको प्रतिबद्धता चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को पहिलो तीन महिनामा नेपालले रु ३५ अर्बभन्दा बढीको प्रत्यक्ष वैदेशिक लगानी (FDI) प्रतिबद्धता प्राप्त गरेको छ। उद्योग विभागले सार्वजनिक गरेको ताजा मासिक प्रतिवेदन अनुसार साउनदेखि असोज मसान्तसम्मका अवधिमा देशभरका ३११ वटा उद्योगमा रु ३५ अर्ब १३ करोड ७७ लाख ८६ हजार बराबरको लगानी प्रतिबद्धता दर्ता भएको हो। उद्योग विभागका अनुसार यस अवधिमा ७ वटा ठूला, ४ वटा मध्यम, र ३०० वटा साना उद्योगहरूमा प्रत्यक्ष वैदेशिक लगानीको प्रतिबद्धता प्राप्त भएको छ। गत असोज महिनामात्रै ७५ वटा साना उद्योगमा रु २ अर्ब ४ करोड ५७ लाख ३२ हजार बराबरको लगानी प्रतिबद्धता आएको विभागले जनाएको छ।Over Rs. 35 Billion in Foreign Investment Commitments in the First Three Months of FY 2082/83 Nepal has received foreign direct investment (FDI) commitments worth over Rs. 35 billion in the first three months of the current fiscal year 2082/83. According to the latest monthly report published by the Department of Industry, from Shrawan to Ashoj (mid-July to mid-October), a total of 311 industries across the country registered investment commitments amounting to Rs. 35.13 billion. The Department of Industry stated that during this period, commitments were received for 7 large, 4 medium, and 300 small-scale industries. In the month of Ashoj alone, 75 small industries received FDI commitments worth Rs. 2.04 billion. This indicates that investor confidence is returning gradually, particularly in small and service-oriented ventures.

After a week of continuous decline, the market showed a positive reversal, although the trading volume decreased compared to the previous session. According to NEPSE, the total turnover stood at Rs. 2.79 billion, down from Rs. 3.27 billion recorded on Thursday. Out of all traded companies, 163 gained, 78 declined, and 8 remained unchanged. The Banking Index increased by 11.64 points to 1,349.36, while the Development Bank Index fell by 11.64 points to 5,258.87. The Finance Index rose by 11.16 points to 2,172.86, and the Hotels & Tourism Index climbed 42.96 points to 5,973.13. The Hydropower Index surged by 22.03 points to 3,269.78, showing renewed investor interest in the energy sector.
