On Friday, IPPAN sent formal letters to major political parties including Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, CPN (Maoist Centre), Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, and Ujjwalo Nepal Party, calling for clear policy commitments to promote private investment in the energy sector. Addressing the top leadership of all political parties, IPPAN stated that Nepal should be transformed into a strong and capable country in terms of energy security and developed as a nation fully utilizing clean and green energy. The association has demanded that Nepal be declared an “energy-friendly country” and that the Electricity Act, 2049, be amended to create a competitive environment through a multi-seller and multi-buyer model by allowing private sector participation in electricity trade, transmission, and distribution.

साताको अन्तिम कारोबार दिन नेप्से परिसूचक ९.२३ अंक बढेर २७१४.६१ विन्दुमा पुगेको छ। यस दिन कारोबार रकम ९ अर्ब ७ करोड ३९ लाख ७८ हजार रुपैयाँसम्म पुगेको छ। ४ स्टकको शेयर सकारात्मक सर्किट लेभलमा कारोबार भएको छ भने एक्सेल डेभलपमेन्ट बैंक र रावा इनर्जी डेभलपमेन्टको शेयरमूल्य क्रमशः १०% र ९% बढेको छ। कारोबार रकमका आधारमा आँखु खोला जलविद्युत कम्पनी शीर्ष स्थानमा रह्यो। वित्त उपसमूहको परिसूचक २.३८% बढेको छ भने व्यापार उपसमूहको परिसूचक १.१५% घटेको छ।On the last trading day of the week, the NEPSE index rose by 9.23 points to 2714.61. आरएसडिसी लघुवित्त वित्तीय संस्थाले चालु आर्थिक वर्षको पहिलो छ महिनामा ७३.५ प्रतिशतले वृद्धि गर्दै ७ करोड ६६ लाख रुपैयाँ खुद नाफा कमाएको छ, जुन गत वर्षको सोही अवधिमा ४ करोड ४१ लाख रुपैयाँ थियो। ब्याज आम्दानी घटेपनि इम्पेरमेन्ट चार्ज रिभर्सको कारण नाफा बढेको हो। लघुवित्तको प्रतिशेयर आम्दानी पनि १४ रुपैयाँ ८३ पैसा पुगेको छ। संस्थाको चुक्ता पूँजी १ अर्ब ३ करोड ४० लाख रुपैयाँ रहेको छ र यो अवधिमा ५ अर्ब ३१ करोड ३० लाख रुपैयाँ कर्जा लगानी गरिएको छ।RSDC Microfinance Financial Institution has reported a 73.5% increase in its net profit for the first half of the current fiscal year, reaching NPR 76.6 million, compared to NPR 44.1 million during the same period last year. Despite a decline in interest income, the reversal of impairment charges significantly boosted the profit. The institution’s earnings per share also grew, reaching NPR 14.83. Additionally, the microfinance’s operating profit surged by 69.48%, and its paid-up capital stands at NPR 1.034 billion. The microfinance disbursed NPR 5.31 billion in loans during the period.

प्रतिनिधिसभा निर्वाचन तयारी तीव्र, अर्थ मन्त्रालयद्वारा १९ अर्ब २१ करोड रुपैयाँ निकासा काठमाडौं — आगामी फागुन २१ गते हुने प्रतिनिधिसभा निर्वाचनको तयारीलाई तीव्र बनाउन अर्थ मन्त्रालयले १९ अर्ब २१ करोड रुपैयाँ निकासा गरेको छ। निर्वाचन आयोग, गृह मन्त्रालय, रक्षा मन्त्रालय तथा अन्य सुरक्षा निकायका लागि आवश्यक खर्च व्यवस्थापन गर्न उक्त रकम छुट्याइएको हो। अर्थ मन्त्रालयका प्रवक्ता टंकप्रसाद पाण्डेयका अनुसार हालसम्म गृह मन्त्रालयलाई १० अर्ब ३९ करोड, रक्षा मन्त्रालयलाई १ अर्ब ९९ करोड र निर्वाचन आयोगलाई ६ अर्ब ७२ करोड रुपैयाँ निकासा भइसकेको छ। निर्वाचन आयोगले यसपटकको प्रतिनिधिसभा निर्वाचनमा करीब २७ अर्ब रुपैयाँ खर्च हुने अनुमान गरेको छ, जसमध्ये हालसम्म ७० प्रतिशतभन्दा बढी रकम निकासा भइसकेको मन्त्रालयले जनाएको छ। यसअघि गृह र रक्षा मन्त्रालयले निर्वाचन सुरक्षाका लागि साढे २० अर्ब रुपैयाँ आवश्यक पर्ने प्रस्ताव अर्थ मन्त्रालयमा पेस गरेका थिए। नेपाली सेना, नेपाल प्रहरी, सशस्त्र प्रहरी बल, राष्ट्रिय अनुसन्धान विभाग तथा निर्वाचन प्रहरीका लागि आवश्यक जनशक्ति, भत्ता, उपकरण र व्यवस्थापन खर्चका आधारमा उक्त प्रस्ताव तयार गरिएको थियो।Finance Ministry Releases Rs19.21 Billion to Accelerate Election Preparations Kathmandu — The government has stepped up preparations for the upcoming House of Representatives election by releasing Rs19.21 billion to cover election-related and security expenses. The funds were released by the Ministry of Finance ahead of the election scheduled for Falgun 21. According to Finance Ministry spokesperson Tank Prasad Pandey, the released amount includes Rs10.39 billion for the Ministry of Home Affairs, Rs1.99 billion for the Ministry of Defence, and Rs6.72 billion for the Election Commission of Nepal. The Election Commission has estimated that the total cost of conducting the election will be around Rs27 billion, and more than 70 percent of the required funds have already been released.

The revised projection is only slightly lower than the 7.4 percent growth estimate put forward by the Indian government. According to the IMF’s latest report, the upward revision reflects stronger-than-expected economic performance in the third quarter (October–December 2025), along with the continuation of solid growth momentum in the fourth quarter (January–March 2026). The fund noted that resilient domestic demand and sustained activity across key sectors helped support overall economic expansion.

Under the proposal, Supreme Health Care plans to issue 1.4 million ordinary shares at a face value of Rs100 per share, aiming to raise Rs140 million in paid-up capital from the public. The company has appointed Global IME Capital Limited as the issue and sales manager for the IPO.
