विश्व अर्थतन्त्रप्रति बढ्दो चिन्ताले टोकियो सेयर बजार ओरालो काठमाडौं — विश्व अर्थतन्त्रको भविष्यप्रति बढ्दै गएको चिन्ताका बीच मंगलबार टोकियो सेयर बजारमा गिरावट आएको छ। अमेरिकाले ग्रिनल्यान्डसम्बन्धी विषयलाई लिएर कडा भन्सार शुल्क (ट्यारिफ) लगाउने चेतावनी दिएपछि लगानीकर्ता सतर्क बनेका हुन्। दुई सय २५ कम्पनी समेटिएको मानक निक्केई स्टक एभरेज सूचकाङ्क सोमबारको तुलनामा ५९२.४७ अङ्क (१.११ प्रतिशत) घट्दै ५२,९९१.१० अङ्कमा बन्द भयो। त्यस्तै, टोपिक्स सूचकाङ्क पनि ३०.८० अङ्क (०.८४ प्रतिशत) घटेर ३,६२५.६० अङ्कमा सीमित रह्यो। यसैबीच, जापान सरकारको १० वर्षे बेंचमार्क बन्डको प्रतिफल केही समयका लागि २.३५० प्रतिशतसम्म पुगेको थियो, जुन फेब्रुअरी १९९९ यताकै उच्च स्तर हो। विश्लेषकहरूका अनुसार प्रधानमन्त्री सानेए ताकाइचीको सरकारले सरकारी खर्च बढाउने र थप ऋण जारी गर्ने अपेक्षाले बन्ड बिक्री चाप बढ्दा प्रतिफल उक्लिएको हो।Tokyo Stocks Slide as Global Economic Worries and Tariff Fears Rattle Investors Kathmandu — Japan’s stock market fell on Tuesday amid growing concerns over the global economic outlook, as investors turned cautious following fresh tariff-related tensions involving the United States. The benchmark Nikkei 225, which tracks 225 major Japanese companies, dropped 592.47 points, or 1.11 percent, to close at 52,991.10 compared to Monday’s session. The broader TOPIX also declined, shedding 30.80 points, or 0.84 percent, to end the day at 3,625.60.

आईएमएफले भारतको आर्थिक वृद्धिदरको अनुमान बढायो, चालु आर्थिक वर्षमा ७.३ प्रतिशत पुग्ने प्रक्षेपण काठमाडौं — अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मुद्रा कोष (आईएमएफ) ले चालु आर्थिक वर्ष (अप्रिल २०२५–मार्च २०२६) का लागि भारतको कुल गार्हस्थ्य उत्पादन (जीडीपी) वृद्धिदरको अनुमान बढाएको छ। आईएमएफले हालै सार्वजनिक गरेको प्रतिवेदनअनुसार भारतको आर्थिक वृद्धिदर ७.३ प्रतिशत पुग्ने प्रक्षेपण गरिएको छ। यसअघि आईएमएफले भारतको आर्थिक वृद्धिदर ६.६ प्रतिशत रहने अनुमान गरेको थियो। संशोधित अनुमान भारत सरकारद्वारा सोही अवधिका लागि गरिएको ७.४ प्रतिशत वृद्धिदरको प्रक्षेपणभन्दा केही मात्र कम हो। आईएमएफका अनुसार चालु आर्थिक वर्षको तेस्रो त्रैमासिक (अक्टोबर–डिसेम्बर २०२५) मा अपेक्षाभन्दा बलियो आर्थिक गतिविधि देखिनु र चौथो त्रैमासिक (जनवरी–मार्च २०२६) मा पनि आर्थिक गति मजबुत रहनुले वृद्धिदरको अनुमान माथि सार्न सहयोग पुगेको हो। उपभोग, सेवा क्षेत्रको विस्तार र सार्वजनिक तथा निजी लगानीमा देखिएको सुधारले अर्थतन्त्रलाई टेवा दिएको प्रतिवेदनमा उल्लेख छ।IMF Raises India’s Growth Forecast to 7.3 Percent for the Current Fiscal Year Kathmandu — The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has revised upward its growth forecast for India for the current fiscal year (April 2025–March 2026), projecting that the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) will expand by 7.3 percent. Previously, the IMF had estimated India’s economic growth at 6.6 percent for the same period. The revised projection is only slightly lower than the 7.4 percent growth estimate put forward by the Indian government. According to the IMF’s latest report, the upward revision reflects stronger-than-expected economic performance in the third quarter (October–December 2025), along with the continuation of solid growth momentum in the fourth quarter (January–March 2026). The fund noted that resilient domestic demand and sustained activity across key sectors helped support overall economic expansion.

निर्यातको बलमा चीनको अर्थतन्त्र ५ प्रतिशतले बढ्यो, वर्षको अन्त्यमा वृद्धिदर सुस्त काठमाडौं । अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प ले लगाएका आयात कर र व्यापारिक दबाबबीच पनि चीनको अर्थतन्त्र सन् २०२५ मा वार्षिक ५ प्रतिशतले विस्तार भएको सरकारी तथ्याङ्कले देखाएको छ। तर वर्षको अन्तिम त्रैमासिकमा आर्थिक गति भने सुस्तिँदै ४.५ प्रतिशतमा झरेको छ, जसले आगामी दिनका चुनौतीलाई संकेत गरेको छ। चीनको नेसनल ब्युरो अफ स्ट्याटिस्टिक्स का अनुसार अक्टोबरदेखि डिसेम्बरसम्मको अवधिमा अर्थतन्त्र केवल १.२ प्रतिशतले बढ्यो। यो सन् २०२२ को अन्त्ययताकै सबैभन्दा कमजोर त्रैमासिक प्रदर्शन हो। यसअघि तेस्रो त्रैमासिकमा ४.८ प्रतिशतको वृद्धि देखिएको थियो। यद्यपि समग्र वार्षिक वृद्धिदर भने सरकारले तोकेको ‘करिब ५ प्रतिशत’ को लक्ष्यसँग मेल खान पुगेको छ। चीनको आर्थिक विस्तारमा यस वर्ष निर्यात मुख्य आधार बनेको देखिन्छ। कमजोर उपभोक्ता खर्च र निजी लगानीको असरलाई बलियो निर्यातले सन्तुलनमा राख्दा चीनले सन् २०२५ मा करिब १२ खर्ब अमेरिकी डलर बराबरको रेकर्ड व्यापार अधिशेष कायम गर्न सफल भएको सरकारी तथ्याङ्कले देखाएको छ। तर अमेरिकातर्फको निर्यात भने अघिल्लो वर्षको तुलनामा करिब २० प्रतिशतले घटेको छ।China’s Economy Grows 5% in 2025 on Export Strength, but Momentum Slows Toward Year-End Despite pressure from import tariffs imposed by former U.S. President Donald Trump, China’s economy expanded by an annual 5 percent in 2025, supported largely by strong export performance, according to official government data. However, the pace of growth slowed noticeably in the final quarter of the year, highlighting underlying structural weaknesses in domestic demand. Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics of China show that the economy grew by just 1.2 percent between October and December, marking the weakest quarterly performance since the end of 2022. This compares with a 4.8 percent expansion recorded in the third quarter. On an annual basis, overall growth aligned with the government’s target of “around 5 percent,” a figure Beijing has repeatedly emphasized as necessary for economic stability.

According to the report, the combined wealth of Australia’s 48 billionaires now exceeds the total wealth held by the poorest 40 percent of the country’s population. Oxfam noted that the scale of this concentration is striking. The wealth owned by these 48 individuals is estimated to be equivalent to the total lifetime spending of around 1.1 million people. The finding underscores how rapidly wealth has accumulated at the top, even as a large segment of the population struggles to meet basic living costs.
