हिमालयन बैंकले लाभांश नदिने निर्णय Himalayan Bank Decides Not to Distribute Dividend

हिमालयन बैंकले गत आर्थिक वर्षको मुनाफाबाट शेयरधनीलाई कुनै पनि लाभांश वितरण नगर्ने निर्णय गरेको छ। बैंकको पुस ७ गते बसेको सञ्चालक समितिको बैठकले लाभांश नदिने निर्णय गर्दै वित्तीय विवरण नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकमा पेश गर्ने निर्णय गरेको हो।Himalayan Bank Limited has decided not to distribute any dividend to its shareholders from the profit of the previous fiscal year. The decision was made by the bank’s Board of Directors on December 23 (Poush 7), and the financial statements will be submitted to Nepal Rastra Bank without a dividend proposal.

Gold increased by NPR 3,700 per tola to reach NPR 261,700, while silver rose by NPR 130 per tola to reach NPR 4,235. These are the highest prices recorded so far for both precious metals.

एनआईसी एसिया बैंकका अध्यक्ष तुलसीराम अग्रवालले दिए राजीनामा एनआईसी एसिया बैंक का अध्यक्ष तुलसीराम अग्रवालले पदबाट राजीनामा दिएका छन्। उनले व्यक्तिगत कारण देखाउँदै पुस ६ गते बैंकमा राजीनामा बुझाएका हुन्। सोही दिन बसेको बैंकको सञ्चालक समितिको बैठकले उनको राजीनामा औपचारिक रूपमा स्वीकृत गरेको छ। अग्रवाल २०७८ चैत महिनामा सम्पन्न बैंकको २४औँ वार्षिक साधारणसभाबाट अध्यक्ष पदमा नियुक्त भएका थिए। अध्यक्षको जिम्मेवारी सम्हाल्दै आएका अग्रवालले नियामक कारबाहीपछि पद त्याग्ने निर्णय गरेका हुन्।NIC Asia Bank Chairman Tulsiram Agrawal Resigns NIC Asia Bank Chairman Tulsiram Agrawal has resigned from his position, citing personal reasons. Despite a continuous decline in interest rates, credit expansion has remained sluggish and has failed to meet expectations. Due to weak economic activity, banks have been unable to increase lending, leading them to invest surplus liquidity in short-term financial instruments. As liquidity continues to pile up in the banking system, managing the interest rate corridor has become increasingly challenging for the central bank. To address this situation, Nepal Rastra Bank has been repeatedly withdrawing funds from the system as part of its liquidity management efforts.

All five companies have announced book closure on Monday, Poush 7, for the purpose of their annual general meetings (AGMs) and dividend distribution. Accordingly, shareholders holding shares traded on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) up to Sunday will be eligible to attend the respective AGMs and receive the proposed dividends.
