The allotment was conducted at the office of Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited, the issue manager, at 9:30 AM today. According to the allotment results, 124,886 investors received 10 shares each, while 4 investors received 11 shares each. The company has received approval from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to issue 2.905 million ordinary shares at a par value of NPR 100 each, representing 35% of its NPR 830 million issued capital. Earlier, in the first phase, the company had already allotted 830,000 shares to project-affected locals and 207,500 shares to Nepali migrant workers with labor approval. Likewise, 103,750 shares were reserved for mutual funds and 62,250 shares for company employees. The remaining 1,701,500 shares will now be issued to the general public.

Companies like Professional Educators and Sopan Multiples saw millions of shares being traded. 1,49,908 shares of Sopan Multiples were sold at 130 rupees each. Shares of unlisted companies can be traded in the OTC market, with a 10% deposit required for transactions.

वैदेशिक सहायता घट्दै, सरकारले राखेको लक्ष्यभन्दा आधाभन्दा कम मात्र प्राप्तForeign Aid Inflow Declines, Nepal Achieves Less Than Half of Annual Target

आर्थिक वर्ष २०८१/८२ मा नेपालले अपेक्षा गरेअनुसार वैदेशिक सहायता पाउन सकेन। सरकारले ५२ अर्ब ३३ करोड अनुदान लक्ष्य राख्दा २३ अर्ब ५३ करोड मात्र प्राप्त भयो, जुन ३२.६२% हो। ऋणतर्फ पनि २ खर्ब १७ अर्ब लक्ष्य राखिएकोमा १ खर्ब २५ अर्ब ४० करोड मात्र प्राप्त भयो (५७.७८%)। कुल वैदेशिक सहायतातर्फ २ खर्ब ६९ अर्ब लक्ष्य राखिएकोमा १ खर्ब ४८ अर्ब मात्र प्राप्त भई लक्ष्यको ५५.१५% मा सीमित रह्यो। अघिल्लो वर्षको तुलनामा अनुदान २.०४%, ऋण ०.२१% र कुल सहायता ०.४९% घटेको अर्थ मन्त्रालयले जनाएको छ।In FY 2081/82, Nepal fell short of its foreign aid targets. Out of a planned NPR 52.33 billion in grants, only NPR 23.53 billion was received, just 32.62% of the target. Similarly, from a loan target of NPR 217 billion, only NPR 125.40 billion was secured (57.78%). Overall, Nepal aimed for NPR 269 billion in total foreign assistance but received only NPR 148 billion, achieving 55.15% of the goal. Compared to the previous year, grant inflows dropped by 2.04%, loans by 0.21%, and overall assistance by 0.49%, according to the Ministry of Finance.

नेपालले आईएमएफमा सेयर हिस्सा ५० प्रतिशत बढाउने नेपालले अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मुद्रा कोष (आईएमएफ) मा आफ्नो सेयर हिस्सा ५० प्रतिशतले बढाउने निर्णय गरेको छ। हाल १५९.९ मिलियन एसडीआर रहेको नेपालको फन्ड कोटालाई २३५.३५ मिलियन एसडीआर बनाउन लागिएको हो। सोमबारको मन्त्रिपरिषदको बैठकले ७८.४५ मिलियन एसडीआर थप गर्ने सहमति दिएको छ। यससँगै नेपालले आईएमएफलाई १० करोड ७३ लाख अमेरिकी डलर (करीब १५ अर्ब रुपैयाँ) दिनेछ। २५ प्रतिशत रकम चालु आर्थिक वर्षको बजेटबाट र बाँकी ७५ प्रतिशत नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकको प्रमिसरी नोट जारी गरेर भुक्तानी गरिनेछ। यसले नेपालको आईएमएफमा मतदान र ऋणको सीमा बढाउनेछ।Nepal Decides to Increase Its Shareholding in IMF by 50 Percent Nepal has decided to increase its shareholding in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) by 50 percent. Currently, Nepal’s fund quota stands at 159.9 million SDR, which will be raised to 235.35 million SDR. The Cabinet meeting held on Monday agreed to increase the share by 78.45 million SDR. As a result, Nepal will contribute 107.3 million USD (approximately 15 billion NPR) to the IMF. Of this amount, 25 percent will be paid from the current fiscal year's budget, and the remaining 75 percent will be paid through promissory notes issued by Nepal Rastra Bank. This increase will enhance Nepal's voting power and loan limits at the IMF.
