नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले १ अर्ब १५ करोड रुपैयाँ मुद्दति निक्षेपमा लगानी गर्ने काठमाडौं, चैत २, २०८१ – नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले उपदान तथा पेन्सन कोषमा रहेको १ अर्ब १५ करोड रुपैयाँ बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरूमा मुद्दति निक्षेपका रूपमा लगानी गर्ने भएको छ। राष्ट्र बैंकले यसका लागि बैंकहरूसँग ब्याजदर प्रस्ताव माग गरेको छ। राष्ट्र बैंकका अनुसार वाणिज्य बैंकहरूमा ९२ करोड, राष्ट्रियस्तरका विकास बैंकहरूमा १७ करोड २५ लाख र वित्त कम्पनीहरूमा ५ करोड ७५ लाख रुपैयाँ लगानी गरिनेछ। यो निक्षेपका लागि बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरूले चैत ५ गते साँझ ७ बजेसम्म आफ्नो ब्याजदर प्रस्ताव पेश गर्न सक्नेछन्। लगानी अवधि ३६६ दिनको हुने र यो चैत १० गतेदेखि सुरु भई आगामी चैत ९ गतेसम्म कायम रहने राष्ट्र बैंकले जनाएको छ।Nepal Rastra Bank to Invest NPR 1.15 Billion in Fixed Deposits Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced plans to invest NPR 1.15 billion from its gratuity and pension fund as fixed deposits in banks and financial institutions. The central bank has invited proposals from banks regarding interest rates for this investment. According to NRB, NPR 920 million will be allocated to commercial banks, NPR 172.5 million to national-level development banks, and NPR 57.5 million to finance companies. Banks and financial institutions can submit their interest rate proposals until 7 PM on March 19, 2025. The investment, spanning 366 days, will commence on March 24, 2025, and continue until March 23, 2026, as per the central bank’s statement.

Commercial banks can manage liquidity using government bonds and deposits. Reporting began in 2024, with financial statement publication required from July 2025. Full implementation is targeted by 2028.

नेपाली बजारमा आज (बुधबार) सुनको मूल्यमा केही वृद्धि भएको छ। मंगलबार प्रतितोला ५ सय रूपैयाँ घटेको सुनको भाउ आज ६ सय रूपैयाँले बढेको हो। नेपाल सुनचाँदी व्यवसायी महासंघका अनुसार आज छापावाल सुन प्रतितोला १ लाख ७० हजार ५ सय रूपैयाँमा कारोबार भइरहेको छ, जुन मंगलबार १ लाख ६९ हजार ९ सय रूपैयाँ थियो। यो वृद्धिले बजारमा सुनको कारोबारलाई प्रभावित गरेको छ।In the Nepali market today (Wednesday), the price of gold has seen a slight increase. According to the Credit Information Center, more than 105,600 borrowers have been blacklisted in the past six and a half years. This figure spans from the fiscal year 2075 (2018/19) to Falgun 25, 2081 (March 9, 2025). A significant number of people have ended up on the blacklist due to their inability to pay the principal and interest on their loans.
