लोकतन्त्र दिवस आज: जनआन्दोलनको उपलब्धि सम्झँदै मुलुकभर विविध कार्यक्रम काठमाडौँ । देशभर आज लोकतन्त्र दिवस मनाइँदै छ। जनआन्दोलन–२०६२/६३ को सफलतासँग जोडिएको यो दिनले नेपाली जनताको अधिकार प्राप्तिको ऐतिहासिक मोडलाई स्मरण गराउँछ। ११ वैशाख २०६३ मा तत्कालीन राजाबाट प्रतिनिधिसभा पुनर्स्थापना गर्ने घोषणा भएपछि लोकतान्त्रिक प्रक्रियाले पुनः गति लिएको थियो, जसको सम्झनामा हरेक वर्ष यो दिवस मनाइँदै आएको हो।Democracy Day Observed Nationwide, Marking People’s Victory and Political Transformation Kathmandu — Democracy Day is being observed across the country today with various programs, commemorating a historic turning point in Nepal’s political journey. The day marks the reinstatement of the dissolved House of Representatives on April 24, 2006 (Baisakh 11, 2063 BS), following the success of the people’s movement. Since then, it has been celebrated annually as a symbol of restored democratic rights and public sovereignty.

नेपालका पाँच प्रमुख सेयर लगानीकर्ता संघहरूले संयुक्त रूपमा नेप्सेलाई पत्र बुझाउँदै हालै संशोधित विनियमावली फिर्ता लिन, सरोकारवालासँग परामर्श गरी मात्र लागू गर्न, तथा आईपीओ प्रिमियम र बुक बिल्डिङ्ग विधि अस्थायी रूपमा स्थगित गर्न माग गरेका छन्। साथै, विधायन ऐन २०८१ अनुसार सबै सरोकारवालाको सहभागिता सुनिश्चित गर्नुपर्ने र मनपरी ढंगले कानून संशोधन नगर्न आग्रह गर्दै माग पूरा नभए कानूनी उपचारमा जाने चेतावनी दिएका छन्।Five major investor associations in Nepal have jointly urged NEPSE to withdraw the recently amended regulation, implement laws only after stakeholder consultation, and temporarily suspend IPO premium and book-building practices. Only the Manufacturing & Processing and Trading subgroups posted gains, while most other sectors declined.

The meeting also formed a negotiation team to finalize a concessional loan agreement worth USD 115 million from the Asian Development Bank for the Integrated Water Supply and Sewerage Management Project. In addition, a task force has been formed to study the condition of information technology systems used in government offices.

बैशाख १० गते बिहीबार नेपाली बजारमा सुन र चाँदी दुवैको मूल्य घटेको छ। सुन प्रतितोला १ हजार ८०० रुपैयाँले घटेर २ लाख ९८ हजार ७०० रुपैयाँमा पुगेको छ भने चाँदी पनि ११० रुपैयाँले घटेर ५ हजार २० रुपैयाँमा झरेको छ। पछिल्ला दुई दिनदेखि दुवै धातुको मूल्य लगातार ओरालो लागेको छ।On Thursday, Baisakh 10, gold and silver prices declined in the Nepali market. Gold fell by Rs. 1,800 per tola to Rs. 298,700, while silver dropped by Rs. 110 to Rs. 5,020 per tola. Both precious metals have been on a continuous downward trend for the past two days.

सेयर बजारमा बहुप्रतीक्षित मार्जिन कारोबार प्रणाली प्राविधिक तयारी अपुग भएकाले तत्काल लागू नहुने भएको छ। नयाँ वर्ष २०८३ वैशाख २ गतेदेखि सुरु गर्ने योजना भए पनि कम्तीमा एक हप्ता ढिलाइ हुने देखिएको छ। नेपाल स्टक एक्सचेन्ज (नेप्से) ले १२३ कम्पनीलाई मार्जिन कारोबारका लागि योग्य घोषणा गरिसकेको छ, जसमा बैंक, वित्तीय संस्था, बीमा, जलविद्युत तथा अन्य क्षेत्रका कम्पनीहरू समावेश छन्। यो प्रणालीले लगानीकर्तालाई ऋण लिएर सेयर किनबेच गर्ने सुविधा दिने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ। तर बारम्बारको ढिलाइले बजारमा केही अन्योलता सिर्जना भएको छ।The highly anticipated margin trading system in the stock market will not be implemented immediately due to incomplete technical preparations.
