The 74th Board of Directors’ meeting of Himalayan Capital Limited held on Bhadra 13 decided to distribute a 16.16% cash dividend from the scheme’s profit to its unit holders, equivalent to NPR 161.6 million including tax. According to the company, this dividend is 6% higher than the scheme’s initial projection and matches the expected Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The company had received approval to issue 1,452,000 shares equivalent to 20% of its paid-up capital of NPR 726 million. Out of this, 145,200 shares were issued to Nepalis working abroad, 72,600 shares were allotted to mutual funds, and 43,560 shares were reserved for the company’s employees. Now, the company will be issuing 1,190,640 shares worth NPR 119 million at a face value of NPR 100 each to the general public.

२ दिनको लगातार गिरावटपछि सोमबार नेप्से परिसूचक १२.९१ अंक बढेर २७६२.७४ विन्दुमा पुगेको छ। सेन्सेटिभ, फ्लोट र सेन्सेटिभ फ्लोट इन्डेक्स पनि क्रमशः ४.०२, १.२९ र १.६१ अंकले बढेका छन्। तर कारोबार रकम अघिल्लो दिनको तुलनामा घटेर ५ अर्ब १० करोड रुपैयाँमा सीमित रह्यो। कम्पनीगत हिसाबमा हिम स्टार उर्जाको शेयर ६% भन्दा बढीले बढ्दा सहकार्य लघुवित्त र विकास हाइड्रोपावर क्रमशः ७.६८% र करिब ५% ले घटे। उपसमूहतर्फ बैंकिङ उपसमूह १.६२% ले बढ्दै अगाडि रह्यो भने व्यापार उपसमूह १.१५% ले घट्दै पछाडि रह्यो। After two consecutive days of decline, the NEPSE index gained 12.91 points to close at 2762.74 on Monday. The Sensitive, Float, and Sensitive Float indices also rose by 4.02, 1.29, and 1.61 points, respectively. However, trading turnover fell to NPR 5.10 billion compared to the previous day. On the stock front, Himal Star Energy gained over 6%, while Sahakarya Laghubitta and Vikas Hydropower dropped by 7.68% and nearly 5%. Among the sub-indices, the Banking sector led with a 1.62% rise, while the Trading sector recorded the biggest loss at 1.15%.

बुंगल हाइड्रो लिमिटेडले सर्वसाधारणका लागि आईपीओ निष्काशन खुला बुंगल हाइड्रो लिमिटेडले आज भदौ १६ गतेदेखि भदौ १९ गतेसम्म सर्वसाधारणका लागि आईपीओ निष्काशन खुला गरेको छ। कम्पनीले जारी पूँजी ८३ करोडको ३५ प्रतिशत अर्थात् प्रतिकित्ता १०० रुपैयाँका दरले २९ लाख ५ हजार कित्ता शेयर निष्काशन गर्न नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्डबाट अनुमति पाएको हो। यसअघि कम्पनीले पहिलो चरणमा ८ लाख ३० हजार कित्ता आयोजना प्रभावितका लागि र २ लाख ७ हजार ५०० कित्ता वैदेशिक रोजगारमा रहेका नेपालीका लागि आईपीओ निष्काशन गरी बाँडफाँट गरिसकेको छ। त्यसपछि १ लाख ३ हजार ७५० कित्ता सामूहिक लगानी कोष र ६२ हजार २५० कित्ता कम्पनीका कर्मचारीका लागि सुरक्षित गरिएको छ। बाँकी १७ लाख १ हजार ५०० कित्ता शेयर सर्वसाधारणका लागि खुला गरिएको हो। उक्त आईपीओमा १ लाख ७० हजार १ सय ५० जनाले न्यूनतम १०–१० कित्ताका दरले पाउनेछन्। धितोपत्र निष्काशन तथा बिक्री प्रबन्धकको जिम्मेवारी हिमालयन क्यापिटल लिमिटेडले लिएको छ।Bungol Hydro Limited Opens IPO for the General Public Bungol Hydro Limited has opened its Initial Public Offering (IPO) for the general public from today, Bhadra 16, until Bhadra 19. The company received approval from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to issue 29,05,000 shares, equivalent to 35% of its issued capital of NPR 830 million, at a face value of NPR 100 per share. In the earlier phase, the company had already allocated 830,000 shares to project-affected locals and 207,500 shares to Nepali citizens working abroad with labor approval. Additionally, 103,750 shares have been reserved for mutual funds and 62,250 shares for the company’s employees. The remaining 1,701,500 shares are now available for the general public.

The move comes as a Rs. 50 billion deposit, earlier absorbed on Shrawan 4, matures today. Banks and financial institutions have been facing a persistent liquidity surplus for a long time. Despite continuously declining interest rates, loan disbursement has remained sluggish. To manage this, NRB has repeatedly been pulling funds from the banking system. Within just one and a half months of the current fiscal year, the central bank has already absorbed Rs. 378.10 billion in liquidity.

On the previous trading day, gold was priced at Rs. 200,600 per tola. Silver also saw a sharp rise, setting a new record. Its price increased by Rs. 65 per tola, reaching Rs. 2,425 per tola on Sunday. On the previous day, silver was traded at Rs. 2,360 per tola. The Federation confirmed that both gold and silver prices have now reached their highest levels in history.

This arrangement is expected to meet the high demand for new and fresh banknotes during the Dashain festival.

The bank will issue 2,624,676 rights shares at a par value of Rs. 100 each, amounting to a total of Rs. 262,467,600. For this purpose, the bank had already declared a book closure on Bhadra 9.
