हिमालयन इन्भेष्टमेन्ट बैंकरद्वारा ‘एचएलआई लार्ज क्याप फण्ड’ निष्कासन सुरु काठमाडौं । हिमालयन इन्भेष्टमेन्ट बैंकर लिमिटेडले आज (भदौ १५ गते)देखि ‘एचएलआई लार्ज क्याप फण्ड’ निष्कासन सुरु गरेको छ। यो योजना हिमालयन लाइफ इन्स्योरेन्स म्युचुअल फण्डअन्तर्गत सञ्चालन हुने कम्पनीको पहिलो बन्दमुखी योजना हो। कम्पनीले प्रतिइकाइ १० रुपैयाँ अंकित दरमा ४ अर्ब रुपैयाँबराबरको ४० करोड इकाइमध्ये बीज पुँजीका लागि ५० प्रतिशत अर्थात २ अर्ब रुपैयाँबराबरको २० करोड इकाइ हिमालयन लाइफ इन्स्योरेन्सलाई सुरक्षित गरेको छ। बाँकी न्यूनतम २ अर्ब रुपैयाँबराबरको २० करोड इकाइ सर्वसाधारणका लागि निष्कासनमा ल्याइएको हो। लगानीकर्ताले यस योजनाको इकाइ खरिदका लागि भदौ १८ गतेसम्म आवेदन दिन सक्नेछन्। तोकिएको अवधिभित्र पर्याप्त आवेदन नपरेमा भदौ २९ गतेसम्म म्याद थप गरिनेछ।Himalayan Investment Banker Launches ‘HLI Large Cap Fund’ from Today Kathmandu — Himalayan Investment Banker Limited has launched the ‘HLI Large Cap Fund’ from today (Bhadra 15). This is the company’s first closed-end scheme under the Himalayan Life Insurance Mutual Fund. The company is issuing 400 million units worth NPR 4 billion at a par value of NPR 10 per unit. Out of this, 50% — i.e., 200 million units worth NPR 2 billion — has been secured for the fund promoter, Himalayan Life Insurance. The remaining minimum 200 million units worth NPR 2 billion are being issued to the general public. Investors can apply for the fund’s units until Bhadra 18. If sufficient applications are not received within this period, the deadline will be extended until Bhadra 29.

Earlier, from Ashad 25 to Shrawan 20, the company had issued 14,279,312.48 rights shares at a ratio of 1:0.42 of its paid-up capital, each share priced at NPR 100. During the subscription period, 27,622 shareholders applied, and a total of 13,920,800 shares were allotted. However, 358,512.48 shares remained unsubscribed, which will now be put up for auction. Among these, 30,038.57 shares belong to the promoter group, while 328,473.91 shares are from the public group. Any individual, company, or institution is eligible to participate in the auction.

As approved by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), the company was permitted to issue 20.70% of its issued capital worth NPR 2.83 billion — a total of 5,860,000 ordinary shares at a face value of NPR 100 each. Out of this, 566,000 shares were allocated to locals of the project-affected area, while 529,400 shares were reserved for Nepalis working abroad. Similarly, 264,000 shares were allocated for mutual funds, and 158,820 shares were reserved for company employees. The remaining 4,341,080 shares have been issued to the general public.

वाणिज्य बैंकलाई काउन्टर साइक्लिकल बफर कार्यान्वयनमा समय थप काठमाडौं । नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरुलाई लागु हुने काउन्टर साइक्लिकल बफर (Counter Cyclical Buffer) कार्यान्वयन गर्ने समय थप गरेको छ। यस प्रावधान अनुसार वाणिज्य बैंकहरुले चालु आर्थिक वर्षमा थप पुँजी राख्नु नपर्ने भएको छ। राष्ट्र बैंकले बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरुलाई जारी गरेको एकीकृत निर्देशन, २०८१ मा संशोधन गर्दै चालु आर्थिक वर्षका लागि काउन्टरसाइक्लिकल बफरलाई शून्य प्रतिशत कायम गरेको हो। यसअघि आ.व. २०८०/८१ देखि वाणिज्य बैंकहरुले क्यापिटल एडूक्वेसी फ्रेमवर्क, २०१५ बमोजिम यस्तो बफर कायम गर्नुपर्ने व्यवस्था गरिएको थियो।NRB Extends Time for Implementation of Counter-Cyclical Buffer Kathmandu – Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has extended the time for banks and financial institutions to implement the Counter-Cyclical Buffer (CCyB). With this provision, commercial banks will not be required to maintain additional capital under the buffer during the current fiscal year. NRB amended the Unified Directive 2081 and set the counter-cyclical buffer at zero percent for this fiscal year. Earlier, from FY 2080/81, commercial banks were required to maintain the buffer as per the Capital Adequacy Framework, 2015.

नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकको नयाँ सीएसआर मार्गदर्शन जारी काठमाडौं । नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरुको संस्थागत सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व (सीएसआर) खर्चलाई व्यवस्थित गर्न नयाँ मार्गदर्शन जारी गरेको छ। यसअघि २०८१ मा बनेको सीएसआर मार्गदर्शनलाई संशोधन गर्दै २०८२ मा नयाँ प्रावधानसहित लागु गरिएको हो। राष्ट्र बैंकको भनाइ अनुसार यसले सीएसआर खर्चलाई निष्पक्ष, पारदर्शी र लक्षित समुदायमुखी बनाउनेछ। बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाले आफ्नो नाफाको कम्तीमा १ प्रतिशत रकम सीएसआर कोषमा राख्नुपर्ने व्यवस्था यथावत राखिएको छ। तर नयाँ प्रावधानअनुसार सो कोषमा जम्मा भएको रकमको कम्तीमा ६० प्रतिशत रकम सोही आर्थिक वर्षभित्र खर्च गर्नुपर्नेछ। यसले खर्चलाई ढिला नगरी तत्काल लाभग्राहीसम्म पु¥याउने सुनिश्चित गर्नेछ।Nepal Rastra Bank Issues New CSR Guidelines Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has issued new guidelines to regulate the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) spending of banks and financial institutions (BFIs). The previously introduced CSR Guidelines 2081 have been amended and reintroduced as CSR Guidelines 2082. According to NRB, this revision aims to make CSR spending fair, transparent, and more targeted toward underprivileged communities. As per the provision, banks and financial institutions must allocate at least 1% of their profit into the CSR fund. The new rule requires that at least 60% of the deposited CSR amount be spent within the same fiscal year. This ensures timely utilization of the funds so that the benefits reach the intended communities without delay.

“सहुलियतपूर्ण कर्जा : संशोधित कार्यविधि लागू, किसान, महिला र युवालाई बढी सुविधा”“Concessional Loan: Revised Guidelines Implemented with Greater Benefits for Farmers, Women, and Youth”

नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले सहुलियतपूर्ण कर्जासम्बन्धी संशोधित कार्यविधि कार्यान्वयनमा ल्याएको छ। अब कर्जा प्रवाहमा नेपाल सरकारबाट नपाएको ब्याज अनुदान राष्ट्र बैंकले उपलब्ध गराउनेछ। असार मसान्तसम्म ९४ हजार ९२० ऋणीलाई ७८ अर्ब ६६ करोड कर्जा प्रवाह भए पनि १ अर्ब रुपैयाँभन्दा बढी वक्यौता अझै बाँकी छ। संशोधित प्रावधानअनुसार कृषि तथा पशुपन्छी कर्जा सीमा ५ करोड, महिला उद्यमशील कर्जा २५ लाख, वैदेशिक रोजगारीबाट फर्केकालाई स्वरोजगार कर्जा २० लाख, शिक्षित युवा परियोजना तथा दलित उद्यम कर्जा २० लाख, स्टार्टअप कर्जा २५ लाख, बोइलर प्रतिस्थापन कर्जा २५ लाख र विपद् पीडित आवास कर्जा ५ लाखसम्म तोकिएको छ।Nepal Rastra Bank has enforced the revised concessional loan procedure. Under the new rules, NRB will provide the interest subsidy not covered by the government. As of the end of Ashad 2082, Rs. 78.66 billion was disbursed to 94,920 borrowers, with over Rs. 1 billion still unsettled. The revised provisions raise loan ceilings: up to Rs. 50 million for agriculture and livestock, Rs. 2.5 million for women entrepreneurs, Rs. 2 million for returnee migrant workers and educated youth, Rs. 2 million for Dalit entrepreneurs, Rs. 2.5 million for startups and boiler replacement, and Rs. 500,000 for disaster-hit housing.

नबिल म्युचुअल फण्ड अन्तर्गत सञ्चालित नबिल ब्यालेन्स्ड फण्ड २ (NBF2) र नबिल ब्यालेन्स्ड फण्ड ३ (NBF3) ले आर्थिक वर्ष 2081/82 का लागि प्रतिफल घोषणा गरेका छन्। दुबै फण्डले १३–१३ प्रतिशत नगद लाभांश दिने निर्णय गरेका छन्। भदौ १२ गते बसेको नबिल इन्भेष्टमेन्ट बैंकिङ्गको सञ्चालक समितिको बैठकले सो निर्णय गरेको हो। साथै, लाभांश वितरण प्रयोजनार्थ भदौ २२ गते बुकक्लोज हुने भएकाले भदौ १९ गतेसम्म इकाईधनी भएका लगानीकर्ताले मात्र लाभांश प्राप्त गर्न सक्नेछन्।Nabil Balanced Fund 2 (NBF2) and Nabil Balanced Fund 3 (NBF3), operated under Nabil Mutual Fund, have announced returns for FY 2081/82. Both funds declared a 13% cash dividend. The decision was made during the board meeting of Nabil Investment Banking held on Bhadra 12. For dividend distribution purposes, the book closure date has been set for Bhadra 22. Hence, only unit holders who are on record until Bhadra 19 will be eligible to receive the dividends.

भोटेकोशी–१ जलविद्युत आयोजनाको सुरुङ ‘ब्रेकथ्रु’ सम्पन्न सिन्धुपाल्चोकस्थित भोटेकोशी–१ जलविद्युत आयोजनाले सुरुङ खन्ने काम सफलतापूर्वक पूरा गरेको छ। ४४ मेगावाट क्षमताको यो आयोजना अन्तर्गत २.६३८ किलोमिटर लामो पानी पास गर्ने सुरुङ छिचोलिएको हो। सुरुङको उचाइ र चौडाइ (गोलाइ) दुवै ५.२ मिटर रहेको छ। आयोजनाको सुरुङ निर्माण कार्य २०८० फागुनदेखि सुरु गरिएको थियो। प्रवर्धक इलेक्ट्रोपावर कम्पनी लिमिटेड तथा निजी क्षेत्रको लगानीमा निर्माणाधीन यो आयोजनाको सुरुङ निर्माण भूगोल इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर कम्पनीले गरेको हो। कम्पनीका अनुसार सुरुङको फिनिसिङ कार्य पूरा गर्न ६ देखि ८ महिनासम्म समय लाग्नेछ। भोटेकोशी गाउँपालिका–३ र ४ मा बाँध तथा गापा–५ चाकुमा विद्युत गृह निर्माण भइरहेको छ। कुल लागत करिब ९ अर्ब ५६ करोड रुपैयाँ रहेको यो आयोजना पूर्ण रूपमा नेपाली लगानीमै निर्माण भइरहेको हो। आयोजनाले आगामी फागुनभित्र ४४ मेगावाट विद्युत उत्पादन गर्ने लक्ष्य राखेको छ भने उत्पादन भएको विद्युत ७ महिनाभित्रै केन्द्रीय प्रसारण लाइनमा जडान गर्ने तयारी भइरहेको छ।Breakthrough Achieved in Bhote Koshi-1 Hydropower Project Tunnel The Bhote Koshi-1 Hydropower Project, located in Sindhupalchok, has successfully completed the breakthrough of its headrace tunnel. The 44 MW project features a 2.638-kilometer long water tunnel with both a height and width (circular diameter) of 5.2 meters. The tunnel construction, which began in Falgun 2080 (Feb/March 2024), has been carried out by Geology Infrastructure Company under the investment of promoter Electro Power Company Limited along with the private sector. According to the company, finishing works on the tunnel will take around 6 to 8 months. The project’s dam is being built at Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality-3 and 4, while the powerhouse is under construction at Chaku, Ward 5 of the same municipality. With a total estimated cost of NPR 9.56 billion, the project is being developed entirely with Nepali investment. The company aims to start producing 44 MW of electricity by the coming Falgun, and the generated power will be connected to the national transmission line within the next seven months.
