The task force, coordinated by Rupesh KC, Acting Executive Director of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), was formed to recommend key reforms for Nepal’s capital market. Initially set to close on 22nd Ashwin, 2082, the deadline has now been extended to 9th Kartik, 2082 (October 25, 2025). The bank is issuing 2,624,676 units of right shares at a par value of Rs. 100 per share, offering one right share for every one existing share (1:1 ratio). The right share issue, which opened on 2nd Ashwin, 2082, will now remain open until the newly extended deadline. अबिरल वर्षा र बाढीपहिरोका कारण सुपरमाई हाइड्रोपावरको विद्युत उत्पादन स्थगित इलाम । सुपरमाई हाइड्रोपावर लिमिटेड (SMH) ले आफ्नो ७.८ मेगावाट क्षमताको सुपरमाई जलविद्युत् आयोजनाबाट विद्युत उत्पादन अस्थायी रूपमा स्थगित गरेको छ । माई नदी आसपासको क्षेत्रमा आएको अबिरल वर्षा, बाढी र पहिरोका कारण आयोजना संरचनामा क्षति पुगेर विद्युत् उत्पादन बन्द गर्नुपरेको कम्पनीले जनाएको छ । कम्पनीका अनुसार, असोज १८ गते (अक्टोबर ४, २०२५) राति परेको भीषण वर्षाले माई नदीमा आएको बाढी र पहिरोका कारण आयोजना प्रभावित भएको थियो । त्यसका कारण उही राति करिब १०:४५ बजेबाट विद्युत् उत्पादन पूर्ण रूपमा बन्द गरिएको हो ।Supermai Hydropower Halts Power Generation After Flood and Landslide Damage in Ilam Supermai Hydropower Limited (SMH) has temporarily suspended electricity generation from its 7.8-megawatt Supermai Hydropower Project after continuous rainfall, flooding, and landslides in the Mai River area caused significant damage to project infrastructure. According to the company, the heavy rainfall on Ashwin 18, 2082 (October 4, 2025) triggered floods and landslides that severely affected the project site. As a result, power generation was completely shut down around 10:45 PM on the same night.

विन नेपाल लघुवित्तको सेयर संरचना परिवर्तन — प्रवर्द्धक सेयर ७.९७ प्रतिशतले घटाएर ६२.०३ प्रतिशत कायम काठमाडौं । विन नेपाल लघुवित्त वित्तीय संस्था लिमिटेड ले आफ्नो सेयर स्वामित्व संरचनामा परिवर्तन गरेको घोषणा गरेको छ । यो संस्था नेपाल सेवा लघुवित्त वित्तीय संस्था लिमिटेड र विन लघुवित्त वित्तीय संस्था लिमिटेड बीचको गाभ्नेपछिको संयुक्त इकाई हो । गाभिएपछि संस्थाको प्रारम्भिक सेयर संरचना ७० प्रतिशत प्रवर्द्धक सेयर र ३० प्रतिशत सर्वसाधारण सेयर रहेको थियो । तर हालैको निर्णय अनुसार, विशेषगरी पूर्व नेपाल सेवा लघुवित्त पक्षको प्रवर्द्धक स्वामित्वमा संशोधन गरिएको छ । यस संशोधनपछि प्रवर्द्धक स्वामित्व ७.९७ प्रतिशत अंकले घट्दै कुल ६२.०३ प्रतिशत प्रवर्द्धक सेयर र ३७.९७ प्रतिशत सर्वसाधारण सेयर कायम भएको छ ।Wean Nepal Laghubitta Revises Shareholding Structure — Promoter Stake Reduced to 62.03% Kathmandu — Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has officially announced a revision in its shareholding structure. For an extended period, the banking system has faced excess liquidity as loan demand remains weak despite continuous reductions in lending rates. To manage this surplus, the central bank has been absorbing liquidity almost daily through various monetary instruments such as Deposit Collection Instruments (DCI) and the Standing Deposit Facility (SDF).

The estimated cost for reconstruction of these damaged structures is Rs. 12.38 billion. According to the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, around Rs. 10.68 billion will be required this year to rebuild major highways, alternative roads, bailey bridges, and permanent bridges damaged by monsoon-related disasters. Additionally, Rs. 1.70 billion from last year’s disaster reconstruction budget remains to be utilized.

According to Rose Raj Luitel, Head of Claims, the company is committed to ensuring quick, transparent, and hassle-free claim settlements within the regulatory framework. The insurer stated that additional claim payments will resume from Tuesday, giving priority to financial relief for affected customers. Citizens Mutual Fund-2 is distributing 8.25% (Rs. 4.62 crore). Citizens Super 30 Mutual Fund is distributing 12.75% (Rs. 9.57 crore). The dividend distribution began on 20th Bhadra 2082. Additionally, Citizens Mutual Fund-1, which matured on 19th Falgun 2081, has already distributed Rs. 92.66 crore at a NAV of 11.30, which includes the 13% dividend from the previous fiscal year. Meanwhile, Citizens Capital Limited has also started distributing Rs. 3.2 crore in cash dividends to its shareholders, effective from 20th Bhadra 2082. Unit holders who have not yet received their dividends are requested to update their bank account details and contact Citizens Capital Limited.
